LED headlights will change your life. My wife's Mazda has them, and when it came time to order the Gladiator, they were a must-have for me. It's possible that you can cobble together an aftermarket solution for less money, but I liked the 3-year warranty, factory engineering, and the fact that...
If you drive in mud, keep the M/Ts. A/Ts are simply not the same, even the good ones.
I run M/Ts. Even though probably 0.2% of my driving is in mud, when I am in mud, it's often on the side of cliff, or scrambling up a hill that I really don't want to have to back down. That 0.2% of having...
Punk'n Metallic is a unique color because it contains glass flakes, rather than metal flakes or "pearl" balls that Jeep is more familiar with. It seems manufacturers often have a challenging time with unique colors. There's a 2019 Mustang Bullitt near where I work. The green on it is...
Jeeps get a lot of little rattles and minor irritations. They're definitely not maintenance-free. But they will get you home. And they're relatively easy to work on yourself (although this is changing as the electronics become more complex).
Interesting. The Jeep configurator has been updated, as evidenced by the fact that slush mats have gone from $150 to $165. Along with this, the Trail Cam has been decoupled from the 8.4" screen and LED package.
If the configurator is correct (a BIG if), then I would expect to see a pretty...
Man, Canadian pricing is weird. You pay extra for M/Ts, but body-colored fenders are dirt cheap. Proximity and the alternate wheels are both cheap, too.
If this is correct, then you'd be the same as a Colorado ZR2 (23.5) and better than a stock JLU Rubicon (22.6). 35s would give you an extra inch and improve things further. Honestly, at 24° or better, I stop being worried. You might drag occasionally, but if you can do more than a stock JLU...
I've never run inserts on my JK's grill and it has never been a problem, despite extensive off-road driving. A buddy with 250,000 miles on his JK only put them on a few years ago when running the Dempster Highway (rocks).
I guess what I'm getting at is: Are you sure you need them? I imagine...
Take a look at the Warn Elite. They say it includes integrated off-road jack points.

Can you elaborate a bit on the weather/dust issue? I don't need one that's 100% water tight, but 95% water tight would be nice. I plan to use this rig mostly for overlanding. The stuff in the back can take some water and dust, but I'd rather it not get saturated.
Yes. Jeep has a nasty habit of doing this, and it's a real problem. The mismatch on the front track bar bolt contributes to eventual death wobble, even on stock Jeeps. It introduces just enough play into the system to start wiggling things loose.
Northridge has a "Grade 8 Bolt Kit" that...
