I was at the beach this weekend and seeing all the wranglers driving around made me really want my gladiator ASAP. Gonna try not to bother Jeep chat more than once every couple of weeks, though.
There are threads around here somewhere...but essentially people figured out that was the common delay among those that had not yet received their JTs. So, for some reason the Berliner seems to be delaying the delivery.
From what I gather you will receive some e-mail updates as your Jeep moves to certain points with that tracker. If you put your VIN in it will give you limited updates. They're not as specific as Jeep chat.
So, just curious about the back window now. Do you have to remove the back window if you flip open the top. I would assume that you don't, but most of the reviewers don't mention it. They also don't mention how difficult it is to put the back window back in.
I agree. One of my best friends refused to wave to JKs when those were first released. Everyone will chill out in a year and forget their anger and the wave will continue with the JT.
All valid and well reasoned criticisms, I think. I drove a Rubicon at the dealer and I didn't feel any of the drifting or ride issues. I hope that's the case when I finally receive my JT. The bed light thing is going to drive me crazy. I'm going soft top only so the glass part won't bother me...
Yeah, I think the standard here is if the doors and the top can be removed then you are worthy of the wave. Cherokees do not qualify, obviously, but JTs surely do.
Yeah, I can see that is how it appears, but the auto is clearly not the option. The manual is. They will make so many more automatics than they will manuals, especially considering the expert reviews on the MT.
The most frustrating part of all of this is honestly what the hell I'm going to do with my current vehicle. It's tough because we have no idea when the Gladiator will arrive
I was able to order one on Sunday.
I didn't want to say anything because the salesman I had was great when I went to the dealer, but I had to go to the dealer because I wasn't receiving timely responses. The dealership is really nice, too. They had at least 15 Gladiators on the lot and I was able to test drive two of them. I'm...
So, nothing. Got it. There is no reason to think that production cannot be ramped up moving forward. Until FCA tells us otherwise, it's a little crazy to think these trucks are going to be delayed more than 6 months from now.
Yeah, I was astounded at how good the premium soft top was with highway noise when I did my test drive. I have no desire to own a hard top and will only end up purchasing one if the soft top gets worse with road noise over time.
