Love the updates! That dog is a hilarious add! Glad you were able to make it to AZ - there is definitely amazing scenery throughout the state, and most can be day (or two) trips. I am planning on such for some time around end of this month.
What you should do next - in my opinion, learn how everything works! Either read the manual, play around with buttons and their functionality, or a mixture of both. I've had mine since February and I still sit in it and mess around with things and learn more and more.
Also, my advice - do lots...
Mine also does not do a damn thing - trust me, I have checked it: in the dark, various light configurations, all lights on, etc., etc. No dice, no functionality - zip.
I got the drop-in Rugged Bedliner for my Overland and am very happy - simply because when I throw/drop stuff back there, it tends to deaden the clanging of things when they land in the bed. Just my preference - have gone this route with previous trucks, as well. Enjoy your new buy!
Honestly, I went with the Overland because I like nicer interiors, and the overall package on the particular vehicle I chose had several perks I liked - leather interior, upgraded sound system, hard/configurable top, larger screen, navigation, etc. Like others have mentioned, I also was not a...
Indeed - and with the UConnect system, you can drag the rear camera app button to your bottom-screen list of favorites. Also, if you install a Tazer Mini, you can tap the mute button twice to activate the rear camera.
Installed the Z Automotive SGW Extension Cable so that I can more easily pull out the Tazer Mini prior to my next dealership visit (free oil change!). Jeezus H. Christ, that cable is a pain in the ass to get in there - maybe my hands are just too big for the area? (And yes, I removed the plastic...
P.S. Some follow-up info: the Nitto Ridge Grapplers are spec'd at 35.08" in diameter (per the Discount Tire site); I have found that once installed, they are more like 34" and change. This was a major factor in calibrating my truck once I received the Tazer Mini - I originally set it at 35" then...
You'll have to get it recalibrated regardless of the order in which you do the two tasks, correct? As has been noted throughout other parts of this forum, you may want to invest in your own module/app (Tazer Mini, etc.) to undertake the calibration yourself. My experience was that I had to try...
Thanks for the question!
Have had the Nittos on for right at two months now, and am going into the office more, so here is what I have experienced: freeway driving is still showing good #s - ~20MPG (Phoenix is pretty flat); my commute is about 21 miles each way. Local/neighborhood/errand...
True - but we also sometimes impulse-buy when a good deal can't be passed up. I know I do that on occasion; of course this is between the discernable 'needs' vs. 'nice-to-haves'.
I have not heard of the "prosnap device", but regardless of what you use, I would recommend you invest a bit of time to learn how to do these things yourself. As I wrote earlier in this thread, I read up (on several websites) and watched a multitude of videos before ordering, and then making...
10% would not sway me one bit - reminds me of the deal TX puts on every year right before back-to-school. Cities/counties are allowed to do a "tax-free" weekend and people SWARM the local stores as if shit was free. That's the marketers' job, though - no one would wait in line for a "8.25% off -...
