I did these and am perfectly happy with them - look OEM and are an easy install. Another member on this forum said he had some rusting early on, but that has not been the case for me. Happy with the product and its performance over ~2 years.
I've had 285/75/18s on the OEM Overland wheel for almost 2 years now, with no issues. Calibrated with a Tazer mini, did a 2" level/lift kit. See here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/achieved-the-look-and-function-i-wanted-overland-with-35s-and-leveling-kit.35816/
As posted in another similar thread, my insurance also replaced my windshield with GG this past March, after 3-4 OEM replacements over the past year or so. Unfortunately, I have a crack in the GG already - same as others: small rock on the freeway, initially a 'bullseye' that has since grown...
FWIW - I'm in AZ with black leather in an Overland model. i guess it depends more on - how often will you take the freedom panels/top(s) off and/or park in the sun? I've had mine over two years and am doing just fine. BUT, I also understand wanting a new vehicle done right, so it's entirely up...
My OEM standard windshield lasted a bit more than a year - it's my daily driver in AZ, so I was quite surprised it lasted that long. AZ is infamous for windshields not lasting long, for some strange reason. Went through 3 more standard windshields before my insurance agreed to cover the Gorilla...
Not sure if this helps, but I did the Rubicon Express 2" level kit (JT7134E) on an Overland and then slapped on 35s. See here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/achieved-the-look-and-function-i-wanted-overland-with-35s-and-leveling-kit.35816/
100% Bulletpoint for me - got the phone mount and GoPro mount and both work amazing. Almost limitless options on how to adjust my phone, and works great on- and off-road. Am a fan.
As has been discussed in other threads, you may need to 'play' with the Tazer settings until you get it right - don't sweat it, many of us have experienced this. You may have to tweak the Tazer size up or down until it matches another independent source (I used Waze on my phone), but don't get...
Just an FYI - I also notice a rattle when I have the rear sliding window open and I crank the Alpine system, especially songs with much bass. It took me a while to identify it at first, but once I learned that's what it was, I learned to not leave the rear window open as much.
I did the Phoenix/Wickenburg one last year - LOTS of fun. No water-type terrain, but certainly other types of terrain and various lessons. Well worth it - in short, I found my Gladiator is just as capable as many other very-modded Jeeps that are out there (I have a 2" level kit and 35s). I was...
Question/let me get this straight: IF I choose to order and install the Sunrider, I can't then remove the back half of my hard top? In looking at the Bestop website, they seem to indicate that.
I like the looks of the HA (but didn't get one). I acquired an Overland in Feb. 2020 and have had a blast with it - and found that it is just as capable as other Jeeps on every trail and excursion I have gone on so far (recognizing I also don't plan on doing any rock crawling). I did a level...
Any particular reason you specifically want a vent mount? With the 'growth' of phone size over the years, I don't trust vent mounts (having tried a few). I recently ordered the Bulletpoint Platform Dash mount and so far, so good. It is quite adjustable in terms of where you end up placing your...
