My $0.02 on GC/AZ - 1) Water, water, water - I know this sounds like common sense, but I cannot tell you the # of times out-of-state folks show up on the local news for not being hydrated and/or having sufficient water supply during summer months. Hikers, campers, etc. - it happens to the best...
I have the Extang Trifold with a drop-in bedliner and it works great for me. As I've stated elsewhere on this forum, I like the fact that the corrugated plastic drop-in liner absorbs the impact when you're throwing really heavy stuff into your bed. I've had drop-in liners in every pick-up I've...
Schnebly Hill road in Sedona is super easy; I've done it twice in the past year (did it just this past Thursday). SUPER rocky/bumpy on the bottom half - not the 'funnest' thing you can do in a Jeep, but the scenery of Sedona from the trail is amazing - hence, it's worth doing.
This! I did a 2" level kit and put on 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my 2020 Overland and it has yet to let me down. I did the Jeep Adventure Academy in March of this year and it was 100% capable of doing all the other Jeeps in attendance were able to do. No regrets whatsoever.
My experience, after having the driver's side visor replaced already (after about a year of ownership), is that flipping it up/down is not the issue - it's swinging it towards the window once it's down that causes the piece of crap plastic joint to give out. REALLY frustrating on a vehicle that...
Found a coupla these at Walmart today - they're the "nicer" ones; feel much heavier than the $1 ones I've found in other colors (red, gobi, violet). This one was $5.47.
Yup - I did a 315/70/17 Pathfinder just so the spare would match (closely, at least) the 35s I put on the OEM Overland wheel. Fits fine - recognizing I only would use it as a spare. Talked it through with Discount Tire staff before putting it on.
I wish I could go - :crying: It sold out quickly, and I got a notice earlier this week that a spot or two opened up, but by the time I logged on it was sold out again. Y'all have fun!
I did Nitto Ridge Grapplers (285/75/18) on my Overland. Discount site says these are 70 lbs. each. I did feel a little sluggishness on Day 1 after install, but you kinda just get used to it. I only lost a few MPG due to the added weight - maybe 1-3 MPG loss, depending on where I'm driving. Aside...
I don't carry the panels' storage bag with me, but have thought about it. In the meantime, there have been a handful of times when I simply pull off the t-tops and stand them up behind the front seats. This is for simple commute trips, not long or bumpy off-road instances. Taking them off and...
If there was any lift in the rear at all, it was negligible - at least visually, as I didn't noticed the rear come up at all. Apologies, I didn't take measurements before and after, but I certainly looked at it about 237 times before and after. More than anything, it lifted the front to match...
I did my research and found an Overland on the showroom floor (literally) and bought it in Feb. 2020 and have been happy ever since. I did not need a Rubicon trim level - I've done various off-road excursions of varying degrees, and my Overland has proven extremely capable. I went the Overland...
