You will probably be fine but my recommendation is to bite the bullet and get an aftermarket controller.
  2. tonneau covers

I can tell you that the 5’ bed Chevy Colorado covers fit. I am running one off Amazon that was $125 that has generic clamps and it fits great.
  3. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Not sure I would be comfortable at that speed in my Gladiator especially lifted 4.5”. I assume you are getting 2 mpg?
  4. Almost left us stranded

I don’t recommend sticking a key into a 12v socket unless you want a fun shock.
  5. Gladiator fuel overflowing.

I spoke too soon. Mine just burped for the first time. I have 9000 miles and it burped fuel all over the side of my truck. Hope it’s just a one time thing.
  6. Gladiator fuel overflowing.

My 08 did that and so did my 04 but no issues on the Gladiator.
  7. Anyone Else Really Like Looking at Your Parked Rig?

I guess I am not as weird as I thought. I too take random pictures of my Jeep and enjoy looking at it parked. Here is one of mine all dirty on my last wheeling trip to WV.
  8. Gladiator in Mojito?

I second that. By far my favorite color.
  9. Safety group implementation

Your good on the Gladiator since it doesn’t have lane assist but on the Grand Cherokee and others I have driven it doesn’t impact a lane change if you use your turn signal.

  12. Towing before 300mi break in

This is what I installed and it looks like a factory install. Came with the pigtail and I have adaptive cruise and haven’t noticed any issues. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/curt-spectrum-brake-controller-installed.20575/
  13. Towing before 300mi break in

That’s correct. You would need to order the connector made for the JL/JT but many sites offer it as a kit with the brake controller. It is located under the panel below the steering wheel near the brake pedal. Just reach up under and you will find it. Mine was clipped up but was the only...
  14. Towing before 300mi break in

Installing an aftermarket brake controller is a 5 minute job. Just get the factory plug connector and hook it up before towing.
  15. Gladiator At Employee Pricing

Getting 5-7% off invoice like most dealers are willing to do is cheaper than employee pricing. Maybe this deal would be easier at dealers unwilling to negotiate but most dealers seem willing to do better if you push. Just ask for the invoice paper and you will see the invoice and EP price which...
  16. Pro's/Con's putting Rubicon Suspension on an Overland

Adding rubicon suspension alone won’t allow you to run 35s on a non Rubicon. The reason you can run 35s on a Rubicon is the fenders not the suspension. You would need 2” spacers or taller springs to run 35s on a non rubicon. Or add similar high fenders. But the rubicon suspension will for sure...
  17. 35s on stock rubicon rims

Sure. Here is a pic from the side in my garage. And a pic of my last wheeling trip of a nice dirty Gladiator.
  18. Top less, Naked, Doorless how do like it?

Top and doors off as often as possible but up here in VA we are exiting the season. 30s at night makes for a cold start to the day.
  19. 35s on stock rubicon rims
