What Engineer at Grimm thought since their 6-year-old could fit their fingers in there it was ready for consumers?
joking aside, I only lost one nut but luckily had some spares. somewhere in my frame is a nut rolling around for the ride.
I would also try to avoid drilling in the roof... but if I had to, could be a great place to use one of these.

So the project started last year when I first got the Gladiator. I promptly purchased the chase rack when I saw it on here featured at Sema from Maximus 3.
After much debate, I ended up with the KC Slimlite LED's as I felt they were middle of the road. I couldn't afford some fancy Baja Design...
I think the quick disconnect is pretty crucial. it's the difference between making it in a garage and not.
I also went back and added my GMRS radio antenna there. I'm happy with the way it has turned out.
absolutely you can reach out with any questions.
I can say that I have yet to come across a situation where the Chase rack impeded with anything bed related. The red lights I have tied to the brake lights, and the white lights on either side are tied to the cargo lights and are highly functional.

yes, the wires are zipped tied and yes...
that chase bar looks awesome. where is that from? and how do you have those lights there and never test them????
thanks for the feedback, I like that look a lot.
lol, well as tempting as it sounds, I think in Houston you can get shot for such a thing. Hell, people get shot for less around there. but I do already have some LED cargo lights back there that I can flip on as they are tapped into the factory cargo lights.
oh hey, you're from Houston, you...
For those of you who have Driving/spotlights on your chase bar, how effective are they? Does the cab get in the way to the point where they serve no other purpose outside of looking cool?
I'm torn on what to get but something has to get mounted, it looks wrong as is.
Not sure if you already pulled the trigger or not as I haven't been on in a while but... the chase rack/sports bar (whatever you want to consider it) is amazing and in my opinion still makes the Gladiator stand out. I absolutely love it. it shows absolutely no signs of rusting or aging...
