I’ve been looking to put some LED off-road lighting on my gladiator for a while, but I’ve always thought that the straight bar LEDs weren’t quite my style. Nothing against them, I just don’t like the idea of a classic round headlight jeep having a bunch of straight lines of light. I’ve always gone with more of the “retro” look. That being said, this is what I’ve decided. I’m going to be getting the Rugged Ridge Sport Bar for the bed, and I’m going to put a couple KC HiLite’s Daylighter LED pods on the rack. These lights come in 2 versions. “Driving”- flood light. And “Spot”- spotlight. It comes in a set of 2 lights (2 driving or 2 spot) with a wiring harness. I’m thinking what I will do is get one of each set and mount them like this. I will mount the “driving” lights on the outside and wire them to the factory brights, and then on a separate switch the “spot” lights in the middle aimed directly forward for when I need some serious reach. Any thoughts?
