  1. Light bar on Sport bumper... pics included

I guess I’m not following, the Mopar bar is nearly identical to this one. The guy who I got the idea from on Facebook used the Mopar one with no cutting. A couple of thoughts, you don’t mean the Mopar bar that is made for Gladiators? That won’t work on the plastic bumper to my knowledge it’s...
  2. Light bar on Sport bumper... pics included

Yep it might rub, in fact it did in a small spot.. I’m not too worried as first the grill is easily replaceable or repainted or touched up. I also don’t plan on removing the bar. From what I know the Mopar mounts are a little slimmer and fit down in the opening a little better. Might be easier...
  3. Light bar on Sport bumper... pics included

Yea that is what is behind the plastic air dam
  4. Light bar on Sport bumper... pics included

I too had dreams of mounting them under... the way the bracket on the bar accepts the lights make it difficult. But it can be done, you would likely just need to extend the bolts on the lights or something. As for space, you couldn’t fit any large round lights I don’t think.. maybe 6” lights...
  5. Light Bar - front plastic bumper

    couple more pics
  6. Light Bar - front plastic bumper

This is the Westin brand, there is a rugged ridge and a Mopar one... the Mopar also works as far as I know. I chose this one because it has a smooth finish where the Mopar has a hammered look. You basically have to remove the front bumper and turn the brackets the right way To make them fit...
  7. Light bar on Sport bumper... pics included

The bar is made by Westin, but there is also a Mopar one. The Westin has a smooth finish and the Mopar has a hammered finish which I didn’t like as much.. That said, I think the Mopar is a little easier to mount. The brackets link up with the frame, just behind the tow hooks. The holes don’t...
  8. LED Bulb Replacement - IT WORKS!

    I’m liking it!
  9. Light Bar - front plastic bumper

I was able to make the light bar from a JK fit with a little tweaking... pleased with how it came out..
  10. Light bar on Sport bumper... pics included

I had been looking at bumpers and really didn’t see one in my budget that I was crazy about. I decided I just wanted a spot to mount some lights and improve the look of the stock front end. With some minor modifications I was able to mount a JK light bar with the stock sport bumper. I also...
  11. Non-Mopar Auxilary Switch add

Has anyone added some lighting on a bumper, etc. and added an auxiliary switch in the cab? Any issues getting through the firewall? Where are you mounting the switch in the cab? Pics would be great, thanks!
  12. Quadratec QRC Front Bumper- Stubby

Anyone have this bumper? : https://www.quadratec.com/p/quadratec/qrc-front-winch-ready-bumper-jeep-wrangler-jl-gladiator-jt/stubby-without-winch I really want a less "imposing" front bumper than many of the options on the market. I also wont be adding a winch anytime soon (if ever). I like that...
  13. Gobi paint for accents?

Has anyone found a “Gobi” color paint (rattle can?) that can be used for accents? Looking to paint a couple small items to match the body paint. Thanks Pic for added fun!
  14. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Gave mine a good wash yesterday and added a stubby antenna and flag decal.
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Replaced the front sash speakers today, with Kenwoods. Also filled the roll bar with poly fill. Sound is so much louder, clearer and more crisp. Really good mod for the stock audio system! I planned to take photos throughout the process, but got to rolling and forgot haha... so here is the...

I ordered a set of these for the front dash also. Has anyone done any changes to the roll bar speakers?
  17. Dash speakers 7" No Alpine

  18. Why did you buy your Gladiator?

My first vehicle (that I paid for on my own) was a lifted Nissan Frontier on 33s and I loved that truck. Several years later I had a 2014 JKU, my first Jeep and I really loved it. My wife and I wanted to buy a camper, so I reluctantly traded in my Wrangler for a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk (tows...
