Hmm, that hadn't crossed my mind. The only thing I can think of is if the 'anchors' are a part of the carpets. I imagine you could get creative and work around that. I'll take a look over lunch.

These OEM floor mats are pretty excellent. Better than the weathertechs and husky liners I've had in previous trucks for sure. Integrating the floor drain is great. I haven't cut them out yet, but will.

At a very quick glance, I'm guessing this is showing you an unsupported beam bending, in which case, 1.7" seems quite reasonable.
To verify, I simulated the same beam with a 100lb Gladiator Multitool on the end. This shows 49mm of deflection, which is roughly 1.9". The difference is probably a...
Alright, I think I mentioned them in this thread, or maybe it was another, but I design and manufacture these 'Bedside Rack' panels for the Ford platform. We've finally got a full utility patent pending review, so I'm excited to explore the idea of expanding that product line. At the very least...
Haha, I design and manufacture accessories for Ford trucks (possibly adding Jeeps...)!
Got your PM! Bottom of the rack to the bed rails is exactly 6", which I believe makes the measurement to the bed around 23.5". All subject to adjustment though. I'm curious - to fit something specific?
Thank...
I won't be the one to put a logo on the side, but based on my experience, it's unlikely that a wall-art sized likeness would be any sort of issue.
I'd also only be interested if it was for a charitable cause or a prize or something - not really the type of stuff I make to sell at the moment.

This is awesome! If only somebody around here had a cnc plasma table ;). I'd be willing to do a super short run of these for a charitable cause or something. I don't have the means to do the markings cleanly, but could cut the blanks pretty easily.

I went with the 35's for the reasons most above me have posted.
I actually opted to go with the BFG KO2 in 317/70r17, which as noted above is a touch (.1in) smaller than their 35x12.50r17. It is a bit wider, though. Most importantly, it's a C load rating tire, which I run on my full size truck...
Well consider me intrigued. Let's back the requirements up a touch so that I can make sure I've got my arms around the end goal rather than the nuts and bolts of it.
1.) Need to support the weight/wind load of the canvas cover
2.) Need to provide space for snaps/velcro/etc to tie down cover at...
Would require basically a fresh design since 22" is high enough that I'd want to be running some FEA to make sure it's strong/stable enough, but it could certainly be done. What would you be looking to carry/attach/accomplish with it?
Matt
Will I see any of you there? I had my JT out behind the shop today and one of our neighbors is a Jeep guy and came over talking about how we had to be there. Looks like a fun event with great turnout. Mud Pit and Rock Crawling is that's your thing, as well as just a general get together.
I...
Ok, finally have a minute to post a bit about the bed rack that I built and have been using. I've wanted to make something like this for a while and recently got this CNC plasma table, which really made it possible. I started by drawing the whole thing out and knew that I wanted it to be based...
That's a good question. I didn't measure it, although I'm sure it did, based on the fact that I can push on the tailgate and watch the rear squat. I'm gonna take the RTT off next week to make some changes and will measure before/after.
