It's not literally a must, unless I'm missing something. You can leave the cooler on there if nothing else it'll make reverting to stock a quicker process.
They won't ship that kit to the US. Might have to get crafty, theoretically.
Knew this shit wasn't going to stay up. I don't know if this was somebody on the forum but making the thumbnail a closeup of your license plate doesn't seem particularly wise. Especially when it looks like you filmed it at your workplace.
I ripped the video before it went private.
Not that I'm...
Just cloned another one for a coworker, a stock unit. Start to finish, opening the hood, removing the ECM, copying, writing to the new one, testing the new one in the truck and reinstalling the original and backing down my driveway was an hour long process. Just to give an idea of the amount of...
I wouldn't be opposed to doing it. Worked for me and it was easy enough. I'm not sure I want to assume the responsibility of it possibly going wrong though. I don't know how to mitigate that risk and feel comfortable about it.
And to even make it worth it to me (what like a 6 pack?) plus...
That was the specific one I used. If the link doesn't work then just find whatever other listing matches the descriptions in this thread. That's all I did. I can't specifically endorse one as working when the listing I used is no longer valid.
People have different motivations but I think part of the desire to clone the stock ECM for many is to tune the second one, leaving the original entirely intact and original. Not like they're going to go poking around unless they have reason to suspect something, but I'm sure they're able to see...
Correct. It appears to be a flawless 1:1 clone of the tune. I drove it around a bit and felt exactly the same and didn't throw any codes or lights.
Tbf I don't know how you could end up with any version other than the one you're trying to to copy. The important part is nothing prevented me...
Thanks. No, not an AEV. It's just got their wheels, snorkel, and HD coils. Nothing else AEV on it. I've done all the work myself, ordered it new in '22
White has never been a color that I want but these Jeeps look damn good in it when you option the painted top and fenders. It's a classy look. Are those 20s?
I feel obligated to update this, it does rub somewhere under full lock at certain angles on the street. Which is of course to be expected, +25 offset on tires this size is temporary and kind of stupid. But didn't want to leave false info out there. I suspect it's actually on the front skid plate...

It's a pieced together lift. The coils are AEV High Capacity 3" diesel coils, plus 1.5" of spacer in the front. Actual total lift is about 4" front 4-1/8" rear loaded in this config.
Starting out with some pretty big stuff, I don't know what got into me this month.
40s went on a couple days ago along with the flare extensions and an extra 1/2" spacer in the front.
Currently ordered and on the way:
Bora 1.5" wheel spacers
Wolfbox rear view camera/dash cam mirror
CavFab 2.5...
Some improvements. Hard to know which was doing more heavy lifting, the GDE tune or the oil, but based on what I've read over on the Ram forums (and here- I can't remember what I've read where but it's been a lot) I think it's more likely the oil is the bigger contributor to the improvements...
That is pretty hefty. I think that's about what the 37" pitbulls I used to run on my TJ weighed.
I was running the STT Pro in 37x12.5 flavor at 77 lbs each, but it looks like they discontinued them for some reason. 37x13.5 is 84 lbs and the 40x13.5 92 lbs.
Whoah what'd you buy? The AEV wheels are pretty heavy too but I was surprised when I was able to chuck the spare up into the bed fairly easily. I really expected it to be a bit of a struggle
