  1. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I am running spacers yes. Doesn't make a difference though, the overall offset is what matters. 8.5" wide wheels at +25 offset rubbed to the inside at full lock but cleared the rock rails. With an additional 1.5" wheel spacer I net about -13 offset and it keeps it out of the control arms and...
  2. ECU/PCM clone process & pricing

To update in regards to having a cloned ECM tuned: I cloned a new ECM myself off of a stock factory ECM. Verified it worked in the truck only to idle for 30 seconds, removed and packed it up and sent it off to GDE. This is against the advice of GDE. Received the tuned ECM back, slapped it in...
  3. Single or two piece axle?

I say they're high maintenance because if you wait too long or don't grease them in time after water or dirt intrusion they can start popping and RCV generally doesn't warranty the clicking/popping then that's it, grease won't fix it. That and you need to grease them through the end of the shaft...
  4. Single or two piece axle?

I have also been warned by many people that Yukon products are problematic. Has been that way for some years now. For what it's worth I run US-manufactured Revolution Gear brand rear shafts on my TJ. I think their JL/JT shafts are made in India, however. It should say on their site. At least...
  5. Single or two piece axle?

Well you're ahead of most. I wouldn't say that's common knowledge, even on this forum. I grew up wheeling in Appalachia. I've seen a fair share of u-joints flung out the bottom of vehicles when the driver is in a throttle down wheel spin in a wet hill climb situation and they start sawing the...
  6. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Trimmed 1.5" from the front of the rubicon rock rails. Looks pretty factory to me until you get close and see the black paint peaking out around the edges. And no rub at full lock with the 40s.
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Well between my shifts at the FAA where I swore an oath to defend the United States against all enemies including domestic, I installed some parts. Couple notes. Sector shaft brace was a bitch. It did not want to line up with the steering shaft. Can't imagine doing the job without a good...
  8. ECU/PCM clone process & pricing

Sounds like all Chinese knockoffs are not created equal. Mine works consistently and without errors or bugginess. Luck of the draw, I suppose.
  9. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Finished the CavFab steering, Steer Smarts track bar brace, Dynatrac ball joints, Bora wheel spacers. Drives pretty great. Rubs the ends of the rock rails at full lock now, so those need shortened.

1/6 SCX6. Big fella, thing will drive right up my stairs. Bought it and painted to the best match to Gobi I could find before my JT got delivered. Turned out pretty close
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Bought six Moab style JK wheels off a guy for $70. Steal. I was just looking for steelies so I could actually roll the Jeep in and out of the garage. I don't know anything about the JK generation Moab wheels but I know the TJ ones are forged and sought after. These might be aftermarket too, I...
  12. Rubi diesel lift advice that maintains rake

AEV high capacity diesel coils. Load up to Max payload and you'll still have a large rake. ::edit:: Disregard, I missed the end goal of 1-2".
  13. EGR cooler (high and low pressure) Delete

It was up when I ripped it a couple days ago and briefly again Monday morning. Not that it matters.
  14. EGR cooler (high and low pressure) Delete

I'm not going to publicly share the guy's video but I could see it accidentally getting compressed and re-uploaded to a server somewhere and shared via private message with members with established accounts and posting history. Hypothetically.
  15. ECU/PCM clone process & pricing

I wonder the reasoning behind that. Is it just so they know the ECM is good and they can't get improperly blamed if the ECM turns out to be defective? That's my best guess.
