Does make me wonder if the distilled water is necessary if you rinse the tank properly. Why does it need fluid kept in it? Anybody know? I've been meaning to ask.
Primary concern being def freezes at 12° and water at 32°. Def expands roughly 7% and water roughly 9%.
Quick google around the...
4.88s and 40s is just a smidge higher, perfect for the increased drag and rotational mass, imo. Something like 160 rpm higher than a stock Rubi at 75 mph and 60ish rpm higher than a stock Sport at 75 mph if I recall from crunching the numbers.
Bit off the topic here, but more rotations per...
Thanks for the cooler info. I'm considering do the same.
To add to the mpg conversation... I'm on 40s and still the 3.73s. (4.88s in the mail) and get about 16.5 mpg in my daily commute if I keep my foot out of it. That's on an MRTuning stage 2. I got nearly identical mpg on my GDE tune, which...
Still nothing.
Ordered the Infinite Offroad lights today. Seems nobody has a very good track record on these chop lights so at least I'll have a backup if the AAL ever ship.
Funny 15 years ago I was worried about spare driveshafts when I'm wheeling across the country. Now I need to carry spare...
I don't know about Rotella.
What I do know is I spent countless hours reading forums and test results and landed on Amsoil European 5W-40 Synthetic AFL MS. I've run oil analysis since new and the results were markedly better on this oil.
Rotella I know is the old school king though. Might...
Although I agree with this sentiment I've still yet to even receive a confirmation email for my new order. I emailed their customer support. Crickets.
I haven't called yet.
I might just order from elsewhere and let this one sit. If it never shows up I'll do a chargeback.
Wish I'd seen this thread before I placed my order last week. Money came out right away but it's been 6 or 7 days and not even an order confirmation email. All I have is a bank charge.
Are you guys having warranty issues in the new lights or just old ones? I thought they'd fixed the new ones...
::edit:: my message here is incorrect. Read on! ::edit::
Have you tested this? Because I don't see why not.
I have a "locked" GDE bench-tuned ECM and I was able to pull a copy just fine. Now if I were to try to use the same tuning software they use to get into it I don't know if I could, but...
Correct me if I'm wrong but none of those are what he's talking about.
You can order a tuned ECM from EOC/MRTuning without sending them anything but your vin number. They don't do any cloning, they'll just send you a tuned ECM that will work in your truck with the exception of the red security...
I mean that's the main reason I did it initially. Why would I want a red light if it's easy to avoid it? Also not sure if that red security light may cause other issues with remote start or other features like start from phone if you use that?
Anyway cloning it first means you can send it out...
Looking to pick up a set of those Savvy inner fenders. I haven't really seen too many running them except you, they look good.
My TJ's got a lot of Savvy on it. Been a fan for a long time, even if they are under new management.
Always a smart move. Life is unpredictable, you never really know if you might have to pack up and move to some other state or county. Well, some folks might know, but you know what I mean.
Every once in a while somebody claims it does but I've never found an option for it. They do update the software sometimes though, it's possible something's been added. But given it's a live function of the tazer I'm guessing it's not a modifiable saved option in the BCM
Someday I'm going to wire the horn up to a relay off the seat belt switch or shifter sensor or something. So annoying.
Might not even be possible to interrupt the power to the horn with the canbus system, haven't looked. I expect someday somebody clever enough will come up with some sort of...
Mopar coolant in the Jeep. Last changed in fall 2022, 30k miles. Topped off with maybe a cup of fresh coolant a few weeks ago.
New Mopar coolant straight from the bottle
