I was running the DBOR extensions but needed more room for articulation so split the fenders apart. It is nice keeping the grime off and I liked the look. Tires were perfectly flush. But at the end of the day needed more room for the 40s
I just assumed that was exhaust sealant with a strip of paper to keep it from sticking to the clamp you need to open and making a mess. Removed the backing paper and clamped it down. Sealant fills the gap in the opening of the clamp.
I've used similar sealant from a tube and also used these...

I've thought about having sendcutsend cut some out of aluminum myself. The steel is already rusting after a couple seasons, as to be expected with just about ANYTHING that...
Finished splitting the fenders and fitting the Savvy liners. Front liners are painted and on. Rears were fitted but off now for paint. At least I can drive it around like this till I get around to painting them. Also new 4" lift Fox shocks and Metalcloak rear sway link reinforcement brackets...

TJ was charging at 13.3 volts. Which seems like enough but Odyssey says they need 14.2-14.5 to charge and I've been chasing draining battery issues for a couple years now so threw in a new alternator today and it's charging at 14.2. So...
This reminds me of the day I realized my Comanche's bed was wider at the back than the front. Bought wheels that were perfectly flush with the front flares and when I installed them in the back they were tucked in. Whole truck is tapered front to rear.
Sometimes things that appear to be flaws...
Those look better than the ones I've seen in the past. Any chance you could snap a picture directly from the side and maybe from the front quarter when you've got a chance?
