I just got the update. Actually, the dealer tried and failed a week ago. Then successfully made it happen today. Sounds like dealers just don’t know how to do this yet.
Has anyone figured out the solution to this problem? I have about 15k miles on my JTR and just had the exact same issue as described in these posts start popping up. Has happened daily for about the past week.
Instead of moving it back and forth, move it to one side or the other By the same amount and see what happens. Will it cause you to turn, or stay straight?
I did try the Off Road + feature while driving in the sand at the beach. It made a noticeable difference. But i had no idea what it was doing. Definately higher RPM before shifting, and it felt like better traction. But i wasn't sure if that was just the RPMs or what. In any case, it drives like...
For some reason I was u DWR the impression that the rear differential could be locked in 4High. Tried it while on the beach this weekend and it said I need to be in 4Low. Is there a way to lock rear in 4High? Educate a novice, please ...
