Finally got my truck back after three days of being at the audio shop. It certainly is a night and day difference between the stock speakers. Now I’m going to have to read up on tuning with the DSP on the amp, there certainly will be a learning curve. I’m enjoying having a subwoofer now as well...
I purchased the Oracle Oculus lights for my Jeep and bought the Quake 9” lights for my wife’s. The Oracle lights are amazing. Super bright, nice beam pattern and wide angle. The Quake lights aren’t as bright, beam pattern isn’t nearly as focused. The beam spread is very narrow as well and only...
My JT has the Stinger Heigh10 but my stock speakers definitely suck. The passenger side sound bar speaker has been blown for a while. It’s at an audio shop right now having Alpine type r components front and coaxial in the rear installed. Also having a JL 5channel amp with digital signal...
You just need to go to the dealership with your vin and the serial number off of the back of the radio. You have to sell the radio with the code, otherwise the radio is a paper weight.
It would of been nice if the harnesses were made longer so that things could of been routed into the glove box.
Something that is cool about the radio. Is if your in reverse and the camera is on you can turn the screen off. The factory radio didn’t allow this.
I did notice on my way to work...
That kind of helped make things better. It’s about as easy as trying to park a semi truck in one car garage.
My wiring harness keeps falling out of the back though. I need to get a replacement.
I’m at the point where I’m trying to stuff everything in the dash and I just can’t seem to get it. It seems like I’ve been spending more than an hour trying to stuff wires in. I have my satellite radio tuner in the dash. Not sure how the camera module is supposed to sit.
I will try and get pictures when I get mine on Wednesday. I will have this paired with a JL VX5000/5i, kicker 45L7R104, Alpine Type-R components and coaxial speaker.
I’m hoping this combination will work well. The JL amp has optical input and a built in DSP.
Brand new never used PAC Audio AP4-CH41 R.2 with the optical sensor installed. Ended up buying a new radio so I won’t need this for my install now.
$280 shipped.
Also have some Knuconceptz krystal kable rca cables 4 channel and 2 channel 6meters long that I can add with it
