  1. Ceramic Coating?

Maybe I missed something while skimming the thread, but $1400 for a single year of protection is ridiculous. I'd rather keep $100/month in my pocket and clay/wax the truck on a quarterly basis. edit: I met and kept in touch with a guy several years ago while we were awaiting window tint...
  2. Confused about towing

Since you have your truck, you should open the driver's door and read the actual tow rating for your specific vehicle from the label. That's going to be the most accurate information available to you.
  3. Newly announced Mexico tariffs and FCA

For now... lots can change pending this whole Renault tie-up... https://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/chrysler/2019/05/29/fiat-chrysler-renault-merger-jobs-europe/1262206001/
  4. Sport and 6 speed manual transmission models built yet?

I just used the inventory tool on jeep.com, and cleared all filters except for manual transmission. The limiting aspect of that search is that it's only good for a 150 mile radius from your "location". One could pump different zips in there to check regionally if desired.
  5. Gladiator LE vs. Porsche Cayenne

Another Porschephile here - wearing a Rennsport Reunion IV t-shirt as I type. :) Porsche sports cars are amongst the best vehicles in the world, bar none. Porsche racing cars (both factory program and private team) hold so many titles and records that it's impossible to keep up. Porsche cars...
  6. Sport and 6 speed manual transmission models built yet?

I used the Inventory Search from Jeep.com and there are several Sport/Sport S trucks inbound to my area, but there are NO trucks in any trim with the 6MT. There’s a separate thread going to track MT orders as well. We all seem to be stuck in D status. :\
  7. Manual Transmission Club

Just got update from Jeep chat - still in D status. The chat agent advised that it could be in this status for “up to two weeks”. Or even longer based on experience of some here. Ugh... Hopefully this is an assembly strategy to send many MT trucks down the line together, rather than a parts...
  8. Manual Transmission Club

5/14 ordered date; D status around 5/23. No updates since then.
  9. JT and LE’s everywhere

I think there's so much variation between tire manufacturers that each specific wheel/tire combo will end up giving a different result.
  10. JT and LE’s everywhere

I'm with both of you - 35" on Rubi wheels for me, then consider the MOPAR lift later on if I need more break-over or simply for looks.
  11. Living with a Gladiator every day

Surely, you don't mean Jeep Gladiators, do you?
  12. TODO: Request Better MT Towing Capacity From Jeep

Can't agree more! Bike hauling and limited small rural property needs are in my towing future. I'd get a RAM if there were more intense towing use cases for me.
  13. Design of under seat storage flawed?

    Slightly more useful!!
  14. Does.the JT have a nomenclature tag?

I have looked specifically for one on the JT, but no good. I don’t think there is one.
  15. Freedom Panels -what is?

That's really the only thing it could have been, given that the back top is unique to the JT and these parts aren't supplied with JL. Also, thanks for the vid above @Big Red Gladiator but holy !@#$ is that music bad for 14 minutes straight. Wow
  16. Diesel JL Wrangler Spotted!

Guess which one is the Diesel...
  17. Checkout this deal!!!

"Direct from participating dealership inventories"... i.e., no way in hell this will work for a Gladiator right now. Maybe once they are stacked as deep as 2018 JL's...
  18. Post your 2020 JT Gladiator build status

Just got my VIN - judging from comments from others who ordered around the same time as me (5/14), it was assigned VIN yesterday (5/22) Bright White Rubi 6MT standard bumper cloth interior Trail Cam Tow pkg No bed liner All safety groups Upgraded audio I think that's all of the variants which...
  19. Weathertechs

We skipped the OEM mats for my wife's Durango and went with Weather Tech. WT fits nice for aftermarket, but it's not as exact as I would have expected given the $$ they command. For my JT I went with the OEM slush mats, as they are much cheaper than WT and I expect will fit better if the Durango...
