Yup. Clips pop off easy and the rubber comes off with the Christmas tree type pins. If you don’t have one of the forked removal tools now is the time to get one. Cheap and so much better than trying to use a flat blade screw driver. With the tool the pins and clips will all be reusable if you...
you have to move over the rubber and the clips from your factory grill to the satin replacement. In addition you need to order the side and bottom pieces as well. My original grill was all one piece but the satin isn’t. The 2 side pieces come as 1 part number, the bottom is a different part...
It’s just in the bed from when I hauled them home. Not on any mount but there is a guy on here in a recent thread who does have the AEV mount and he confirmed that you cannot see squat out the rear view with a 37 mounted on it.
How does the harness come apart. I had mine exposed but couldn’t figure how to get that tiny ass harness apart to install the new one. Between my bad eyesight and trying to work upside down I couldn’t get it apart.
Off the front or off the rear it doesn’t really matter because you will still need to clear the windshield. My JT is almost 80” tall, the windshield is maybe an inch less. To remove the top you would need 2 people able to lift it such that the lowest point of the awkwardly shaped and unevenly...
It’s got to be silly looking plus the fact that you need a 12’ inside ceiling height to hoist the top off to clear the rack on any JT with a decent lift.
Planning on replacing my painted max tow fenders with new Rubi fenders. I’m strongly considering going with unpainted to match my unpainted (Black) hard top.. However looking around it seems just about everyone now runs painted fenders. I do like the look of my gator fenders but it would be an...
Thank you sir for pointing out the improvement, I wasn’t aware there had been any. I just ordered this product 3 weeks ago and haven’t installed it yet. Mine shows a packaged date of 1/21 and thankfully it has the new nut and set screw.
Thanks all, finally got it installed. Once you have all the pieces it’s pretty self evident how it goes but all the pics help.
4 nutserts needed for each frame horn ( 2 on each side of each horn). Easy to install with a 3/8” ratchet and 16mm socket with slow and steady inward pressure to make...
Ok, in this pic which holes do I install a nutserts into for the bracket to bolt to? This pic is the passenger side and looking towards the middle of the Jeep.
Tow and max tow aren’t the same thing. By looking at your photo, you have the tow. Max tow would have the extended flares to cover the wider axles. About .75” on each side.
