BINGO !!!
This was going on long before tariffs were brought up but certain media outlets and politicians want to put the blame somewhere else to push their political narrative.
Chicken Little called and wants his story line back.
Did four days and three nights on the East Mojave Heritage Trail. Had a pretty good trip with a group of Wranglers and my Son-in-law in his Titan.
We covered about 310 miles in the first two segments.
Now it's clean-up time and refining my gear list to tighten things up a bit.
Thatās what I was thinking. For Big Bear theyāre going to want 35ās and a couple inches of lift minimum unless theyāre just advertising for cruising the streets in Big Bear.
I was mulling that over the other day because I donāt like overriding complex systems and came to the conclusion that it is better to use the system as designed and use the override button provided even though I have to press it every time I start the Jeep.
Itās pretty much a natural habit now.
Oh we get the point but your continuous gaslighting over an obviously unpopular system to some and your pontification over other peopleās opinions that donāt agree with your opinion is getting as annoying as the ESS is to some of those here.
Do you have a turn off button like the ESS?
For the...
It's the foot stepping off the brake that triggers the restart. I figured that out right away and would take my foot off the brake a fraction before needing to move so the engine could restart. It didn't take me long to decide to always use the override.
He didn't ask for scientific. He asked for opinions.
Mine is that I don't like it. I have concerns about the starting and stopping putting unnecessary stress on the engine internals. There was one Pentastar engine engineer who stated that the ESS was an engine killer. That could have been his...
Took her camping to Fish Creek wash in Ocotillo Wells for a one nighter test run before a 4 day trip to East Mojave Heritage Trail in two weeks. Had a great time proving out our system and taking notes for things to do streamline the quick setup and breakdown.
You're welcome
Same here for when I want to install something. What I have and what I want to do with it. My Auxbeams came with harnesses and their own switch but I don't want a bunch of switches installed all over my dash so I cut off the switch and relays and wired them to my factory aux...
Page 74 of your ownerās manual has a pretty good description of the switches.
They can be set for latching or momentary power output and have built in relays and fuses.
Aux 1 and 2 are fused to 40 amps, 3 and 4 are 15 amps.
Without looking at the wires you might want to double check with the manufacturer on that.
My third party light addons (Auxbeam) came with wires for straight to the battery with itās own switch system. I cut all that off leaving the wires to connect to my factory aux switches that were already...
Tested my MORRflate 10/6 pro and Quad+ 4 tire inflate/deflate system
8 minutes to air down from setup to putting the gear away to deflate from 38psi to 15psi.
19 minutes from pulling the gear out of the jeep to putting it away to inflate from 10psi to 40psi.
I had the valve open when...
MORRFlate TenSix PSI Pro 10.6 CFM 12V Portable Dual Cylinder Offroad Air Compressor
MORRFlate Quad+ 4 Tire Inflation Deflation System
Iām moving up to a 2 cylinder compressor and 4 tire inflate/deflate system to save time.
Itās not the onboard ARB system I was thinking of getting but a lot...
Thatās what I started with. 2 5-gallon Jerry cans that were about $40 each strapped onto the eyelets in the bed and my trail rails. They barely fit under my tri-fold and got bent up. That didnāt bother me but they started leaking at the spout so I replaced them with the one in my post above...
