It's the foot stepping off the brake that triggers the restart. I figured that out right away and would take my foot off the brake a fraction before needing to move so the engine could restart. It didn't take me long to decide to always use the override.

Took her camping to Fish Creek wash in Ocotillo Wells for a one nighter test run before a 4 day trip to East Mojave Heritage Trail in two weeks. Had a great time proving out our system and taking notes for things to do streamline the quick setup and breakdown.

Page 74 of your owner’s manual has a pretty good description of the switches. They can be set for latching or momentary power output and have built in relays and fuses. Aux 1 and 2 are fused to 40 amps, 3 and 4 are 15 amps.
