I've been hunting for a Napa Maxitrac compressor but they never have them in stock. I found the exact replica on Amazon U.S through a YT vid I watched. Shipping and duty included was 324 CAD with the discount code provided in the video. Don't bother trying to buy it on the Canadian site as they...
You don't need a spring compressor if you loosen the trackbar and control arm bolts. This will allow you to get enough flex to install the spacer. It's really not difficult

I installed these on my Mojave. I had no issues, it fit perfect. The only thing I did was bedline the bracket as I didn't think the finish would hold up.
I ran the trail at the beginning of Sept after a major storm. The ranger recommended not to run it but we did with no difficulty. We did it over two day. Such a beautiful trail.
I raptor lined the entire tub of my jku. I believe their instructions said to lightly scuff the paint just to get the shine off which is what I did. It held up great for years
Edit. Just reread your post saying bare metal so this may not help you. I would think bare metal should be primed.
Sounds like bump steer to me. I had that on my JKU that had a 3 " lift and 37's. I installed a drag link flip kit which resolved the problem. It was a night and day difference.
Sometimes a fuse is not seated properly in the fuse box from the factory.. Open up the fuse box and push firmly on every fuse. Improperly seated fuse can cause you lots of grief.
