this is what I want to know. They stated a couple pages back they almost had a universal fix. I really dont want to have to buy additional parts or even trouble shoot this "plug-n-play" item. If it does indeed only need a higher ohm resistor great....when they being shipped?
I installed the resistors they supplied during initial install. Both backup lights would and still do turn on. The right one cuts out whenever it feels like.
Sell it to carmax or carvana once you get it back. Dont do a buy back. Take advantage of the crazy resale values. Buy a new one after, hopefully not lemmon
I did the same exact thing, coming from the bike trails also. Key also in camel back. I accidently locked my key into my BMW's trunk.. i've come to realize that when im done riding im sometimes so tired and slightly out of it, thus more prone to mistakes.
2 things I always do since that...
truxedo TS rails (very easy to find in google) They attach just like any tonneau cover and are compatible with most of them because of this. I used the one from Gator, but a did have to trim a pice on the end. (small pice on inside that is not visible.)
truckusa makes a retractable tonneau...
This is absoulutely wrong. beyond a certain level of lumens, reflectors essentially reflect back on themselves and causes the effects mentioned above (among other issues.) Its why projectors are considered an upgrade over reflector dish. Not to mention i have personally seen the difference in...
Tazer does that many sleep cycles to get around the built in protections of the ECU. The tazer is essentially a hack. This means it is fundamentally designed to circumvent an already built system. You can almost think of the tazer as exploiting the holes.
As a thought, since the tazer fudges...
you really cant put brighter bulbs than oem in an oem halogen housing. Due to the laws of physics (not an opinion thing), any brighter will produce glare and ruin your cut off. The white light will look pretty though. The light "quality" will suck. If you look at LED bulbs/brighter halogens...
I wish the member market place were somehow better displayed or evolved.
It would be cool to have some way to be on the lookout for certain items. For example, if someone in my state (or next state) decides to sell some half doors at a good price I would love to know right away, almost like...
you should be able to bend back. If you cant and dealer wont fix, go to a different one if you can. DONT tell them you ever took the doors off....they will say its your fault.
Remember that a bent pin on either door can cause the symptoms.
As a last/worst case. You can get the exact...
Def pin.....unless the connectors are joined exactly like the the crack smoking engineer who over designed them envisioned, it is really easy to bend up or down.
I absolutely hate, loathe, despise, detest and wish ill upon all dealerships and the franchise model in general.
