Yeah I saw that point raised in another thread. Lucky for me I live on a hill with the tailgate always downhill ;-) Like I said maybe not for everyone. Thanks for pointing out the mispost.
How so? I've run hard plastic liners for 30 years never had rust. Remember we don't use salt on the roads here in the west ;-) As long as you get the liner in before you get a scratch it's good.
Functional is the operative word.... I thought of doing that on mine and found a video of a guy actually cutting the openings. Then I saw several threads on how it may actually impede the performance of the engine compartment. If it would have improved things to have it open the engineers would...
I installed the WeatherTech bed mat. I've had WeatherTech mats and cargo liners in all my vehicles so of course I wanted to try their bed liner. It was a challenge to get on the west coast. The local dealer couldn't order yet so I had to go direct and pay the shipping. When it got here it was...
I'm just hitting the 500 mile mark on my Mojave and have to say it is improving the more miles I put on it. It started out super sluggish but the mileage is improving and it feels a little more peppy every day! I'm holding out until I get to the 1k mark before I complain about my 13mpg average. ;-P
Little Details... Added the GPCA Grab handles, Water Bottle colab from Triple Aught Design and Earthwell, found just the perfect dog (@pantoneismydog) and of course picked up my Z Automotive Front Cam washer accessory ...haha
I used the Mcguires Back to Black in the first week because the fenders and bumpers looked a bit grey and washed out. Now they are nice and dark and all the ash we had just came right off. Can't say the same for the paint that had yet to be coated.
I got to find a way to pop that cam out a little more. Z Automotive....You got that mount available yet?
I've narrowed down my wind noise to the door seal. It doesn't look terribly out of alignment but there's definitely more noise without the tape. When you say alignment are you referring to...
Hey Mr._Bill
I don't have the AUX switches... It was one of the things I was willing to do without to get the color and model when I wanted it. I've got my front cam piggybacked to the lighter so I can't switch that to always on either.
It's funny how nobody really wants to go into the...
Thanks for the tip! I'm like 400 miles myself...Didn't even have time to get that first coat of ceramic on it before the heat and ash came down. Actually I bought it on one of the smokiest days right before labor day hoping to get a deal!
What color did you get?
Oh really? Thanks for that. The beast wont fit my little 1950s garage so it sits out in the elements. I've been hosing it off but the ash sticks like crazy. I was just going to do the ceramic coating too! Dang looks like I'm washing it in the morning.
Hey Folks,
I'm heading into the fusebox to tap an ACC and Always On fuse for my dash cam. I have a few fuses mapped out as candidates but I thought I would see if anyone has already done it and has a suggestion... And yes I could go the whole rear view mirror or visor power method but I already...
