Ahh! The hello's are so beautiful . Do mine look that beautiful? I'm sure with that bumper they would. lol
  2. Freeing a Stuck Vehicle

I've crawled out of more stuck situations than accelerated out of them. It's amazing what a bail of hay, a tree branch or some big rocks can do to get you out of a bind.
  3. It's more than a vehicle it's a community! Jeepers unite to recover Jeep stuck on a cliff

Agreed! The original intent was meant to show how a bonehead went above and beyond their limits and the limits of the terrain. I think the recovery group aligned with the driver or not did a stellar job of pulling their sorry ass out of an otherwise unrecoverable situation.
  4. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

All I did was install the Mopar Locking Gas Cap. Parking overnight on the urban streets it give me a peace of mind well worth the cost. I also setup the security hood monitoring with the Zautomotive Tazer! Plus my NEST guardian watching from above ;-)
  5. It's more than a vehicle it's a community! Jeepers unite to recover Jeep stuck on a cliff

Agreed! My close friends rented a JK (first time) for a road trip a couple months ago and rolled it on the highway. They survived but got pretty beat up.... Their comment was that their seatbelts kept them in place, but they got beat up by all the panels flying off the vehicle as they rolled.

It's the WeatherTech liner. My local dealer couldn't get it so I had to order it direct. It's pretty sweet, tight fit and totally matches the freedom top look.

Man if I had a garage or safe place to park my Mojave I would have a soft top or no top at all. But living in the city without a garage big enough to house the beast, I'm stuck with the daily removal of the freedom panels.... Until winter of course. Then I'm imagining I'm going to love my hard...

I'm running the stock tires and I did a 200 mile round trip today with pretty flat terrain and got 19.5 mpg. That made me feel a lot better.
  9. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Today I went on a journey to fill the empty holes where my trail rails should be. Thanks to @Sgt. Pepper, I saw some beautiful country and got to check my highway mileage and cross over the 1000 mile mark. Averaged 19.8...Sooo much better than the 13.4 I've been getting around town.
  10. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

Ah... A jeep in its natural habitat. Look at how proudly it stands ;-)
  11. It's more than a vehicle it's a community! Jeepers unite to recover Jeep stuck on a cliff

Check out this great recovery story. I thought this bone head would need a helicopter for recovery but a local jeep group got it out. Background story: https://www.thedrive.com/news/36696/that-infamous-jeep-wrangler-stuck-on-a-dangerous-bike-trail-has-been-saved Crazy risky rescue!

Thanks @hjdca I think...haha. At least I know I'm not alone. I figured the terrain had a lot to do with it but didn't consider the tires not being calibrated correctly. I do have a Tazer so I will give that a look. It's funny, I bought the Tazer for the front cam but there are so many extras I...

Tell me this gets better..... I'm in the SF Bay Area (East Bay Hills) and it's mostly city traffic, a few miles on a freeway and up and down the hills to and from my house. The best I've seen is 15.1MPG with a 12 mile commute into the city. I haven't had a chance to get out on a long drive yet...

I learned a lesson today.... Never use 303 on your floor mats! Them things a slippery as ice and super annoying.
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I used 303 on the liner... Looks pretty good. I used back to black on the fenders and that seemed to have more depth to the finish. 303 reminds me of the ArmorAll days of yesteryear..... Like the more you use it the more you have to use it ☺️

Reposting here after pissing people off by posting in the WDYD WITH forum accidently ;-) I installed the WeatherTech bed mat. I've had WeatherTech mats and cargo liners in all my vehicles so of course I wanted to try their bed liner. It was a challenge to get on the west coast. The local dealer...
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Thanks RSK..... That was the first thing I taped off and it didn't seem to make a difference. Mine seems to be the door seal along that same section. I've had tape along the windshield and down the door. I found if I throw a rag in the door at that area it knocks down the noise considerably...
