Yeah It is super tempting to get those upgrades. I can add a front locker a lot easier than make those upgrades to a Rubicon. I dislike the stitching and accents on the interior too, though.

My #1 complaint about the Mojave is the orange accents, pretty much against any color. I know it's silly but all the little orange bits are what keep me from seriously considering the trim.

Been holding out, but I'll join the bashing train. I cannot stand the aftermarket head units for the JL/JT. They all scream 'look at me' in a car that does not need any help with that. Last thing I wanna do is put a crappy looking radio in my $50K Jeep and then have to stare at their freeloading...

Yeah sorry, @mrmo. I have been waiting on MY22 and my personal thought/want is that pricing shouldn't drastically change. There have been incremental updates for several months now so I'm hoping there isn't a big bump now.

BTW, another thread: I consider Gupton the gold standard as far as intel I trust. If this is true I am friggin pumped.

lol. Although I'd say there is a high probability that UC5 launches in the platform but uses the existing sized screens to fit this interior. I do wonder if they eliminate the 5" screen unit altogether soon.

Yeah if they truly have a 22 JLUW on display I wanna know what that head unit software looks like. Is the Uconnect5 interface noticeably different to anyone that knows? Please let us know if you go, @lrtexasman!

I have used fluid film on my old Dodge for years and I think it works pretty well. Foam sounds like a disaster. When I finally take delivery of a JT I'll be driving it from the dealer straight to a Krown to get it protected and warrantied. Does something like that exist in your part of the world?

Yeah, well maybe that will be our strength too. If the JL gets to MY22 before JT, then on our side I can decide if I want to order a MY21 or a MY22 and know I'm getting exactly what I want .... maybe.

Well this is interesting, from another thread. @BlueGlady, that feeling you describe is exactly how I felt when I thought MY22 was dropping this week and we got a friggin (RED) Compass instead. Ugh. Hoping Blue stays for you, and we all get model year 22!

Eh IDK, that Uconnect looks pretty much like 8.4 unit from what my googling tells me. Doesn't confirm an upgrade didn't happen, or that a bigger one doesn't exist, but I don't think this is it.

Good stuff to unpack here. No imminent refresh of interior anything, other than maybe a change to the head unit? But that's too hard to tell. But we at least have some indication that 2022 opens in October for the JL, so that's fantastic news! Also seems like Sarge might stick around for us for...
