If I had a dollar for every one of these kinds of dreams I've had to crush.... Nacho is discontinued, has been for a long time. Gecko is over now as well. Hydro Blue may be around for MY22, we don't know yet.
Consensus I've seen elsewhere on the boards is that the Wrangler will get screwed out of TL but not necessarily the Gladiator. Gupton will probably remain the most competitive on price either way.
Sport or Sport S? (Power locks? Code 24S on the sticker?) If it's in stock and you want it, maybe so. But there are too many variables to know just from this. Like to me, I read 42.9 and know that's just at or above invoice on a base Rubicon, so.....
Welcome Shelby! There is a 91-page thread of pondering about the 22s over here. It is now where we just hang out and complain while we wait. Consensus is maybe upgraded radios, maybe new colors, maybe some old options are now standard. All speculation.
Best guess is that ordering opens October 6th.
Oh weird, I see that now. I would have assumed add a taller bumpstop, not a block to the axle. That is impressive then. Wonder if they just derate the payload as a CYA precaution.
Yeah but if you added 2.5" of lift doesn't that change where the springs can safely bottom out? I'd think if you have a gap here of less than 2.5" and these are the factory bump stops then you've over-compressed your suspension ... right? I mean I could easily be wrong, that's just what makes...
Does the lift include new bump stops? I've hauled loads like that in my 1/2 ton but wouldn't want to go over max payload in the JT. I think I'll just borrow a trailer or something.
Welcome! Based on the comments I've seen here you sound like the board's biggest ACC fan, lol. It gets a lot of derision. But for me - I am super stoked to get it and use it exactly as you have described. Thanks for the added confidence!
I feel like the frunk on every one of these is a missed opportunity for a rentable battery. I envision something like this:
You pay $20/month to belong to the 'club'
You can rent 2 or 3 different sized universal battery packs that would provide an extra 300-500 miles of range and charge a...
This is spot on. Sometimes facts are facts. People behave selfishly and respond to incentives even when those incentives are to the detriment of literally everyone else.
@Challenger85, Elon is as close to a chaotic neutral supervillain I've ever seen. I completely agree the CyberTruck is an ego exercise.
That being said, I invested in TSLA years ago and have no regrets.
