  1. Below Invoice Discussion @ Motor Inn of Spirit Lake

Another Colorado buyer here who can't find an in state dealer ... I looked the other day and saw Frontier had one way (nonstop) flights to Sioux Falls from Denver for $79. I just checked and $99 was cheapest I can find now (not including their other fees). I am probably leaning towards Idaho...
  2. how dealers can sell below invoice price

I read somewhere Wrangler sales were down 21% on the year ... I think Subaru was only manufacturer that increased. I could be wrong, but new car sales across the board seem to not be doing too well.
  3. Albuquerque Auto Show

Wish the Denver Auto Show would let us in the Gladiator ... I couldn't even get the person to let me measure the depth of the bed and I could have done it without even standing on the "wood" platform. Maybe someone else knows ... will a Yeti cooler fit with a tonneau cover on? The Yeti...
  4. Is soft top warm enough?

I had a factory soft top and half doors for 14yrs on my TJ, never had an issue with it too cold or leaks. Lived in northern Indiana (with no garage) and Colorado. That heater was a beast ... drove cold Colorado mornings to work with the top down and mid 40s, heat on floor only, kept me warm...
  5. Below Invoice Discussion @ Motor Inn of Spirit Lake

Yep, I've just been optimistic at least one of the 14+ Colorado dealers would see the benefit in offering 5% below invoice.
  6. Pre Ordering

I'm getting a lot more confident "May 1st" this afternoon from dealers.
  7. Below Invoice Discussion @ Motor Inn of Spirit Lake

I'm working the Colorado dealers the best I can to find someone willing to go 5% below invoice ... so far, no luck. I always knew Iowans were good people.
  8. Bed cover weatherproof?

I’ll be holding out for at least a third-party hard folding tonneau kind of like the Tacoma. Ideally I can find something relatively bear-proof ... camping in Colorado with a soft top JT no bueno.
  9. Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition Announced - Preorder on April 4 Only

Any luck with Larry H Miller? I reached out to them mid-March and got the following, “I should see what will be available to order the first part of the month. I would be more than happy to let you know when it is up in our system and ready to order. We will of course honor FCA pricing. I will...
  10. Up to 7% off in Idaho

I saw Wrangler sales were down something like 20%. If they want to try and charge MSRP (or anything close to it) I will go get a well-equipped JL for 7%-10% below, or jump ship and get a well equipped Tacoma at a reasonable price.
  11. Up to 7% off in Idaho

I have contacted everyone but Autonation and Medved. Autonation has the worst website on Earth and I refuse to call any dealers at this point because they only prefer to call and nag and leave messages without any info other than to call them. If you have an email contact for Autonation, I...
  12. Dealer said regular orders tomorrow too

The dealers I have heard back from found out about the Launch Edition order in a business district call today, but nothing else. One stated "From what we hear, to order a specific unit will be sometime in June for an August delivery. I hope this info helps." I don't believe a word this guy...
  13. Up to 7% off in Idaho

The Colorado dealers have been a pain in the ***. I'm up to 16 that I am dealing with and very few have been helpful. Flower Motor in Montrose so far has been the best, without discussing FCA Affiliates she was offering invoice. I sent each dealer a build for a Sport and a build for a...
  14. FYI: Tread Lightly Discount Signup Summary (FCA Program)

I was scrolling through the FCA Affiliate list looking for "MEMBERS" since I knew my employer would not be on this list. I came across the Access Fund here in Colorado which appears to be an advocacy group for climbers. Cheapest membership is $35, which looks like it is sufficient for the FCA...
  15. Pre Ordering

I had two dealerships in Colorado follow-up with me today stating they should have order forms this Thursday, and that was not for the Launch Edition.
  16. 2020 Gladiator Build & Price Site Updated With Pricing. Post Your Build!

Pollard, Faricy, etc have been no help. My best so far was Flower Motor in Montrose. Flower was Invoice without any discussion of FCA Affiliate, etc. I’ve talked to everyone but Autonation and Medved in the state, plus Cowboy in Cheyenne ... will let you all know if I find any deals...
  17. Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition Announced - Preorder on April 4 Only

I got the same email ... believe it is because I signed up on Jeep.com for more info once Jeep announced the Gladiator. $62k is too rich for my blood, and I have no interest in an automatic or hard top. Not to mention, the contest is void in the great state of Colorado.
  18. 2020 Gladiator Build & Price Site Updated With Pricing. Post Your Build!

I’m still getting the generic placeholder pricing and $0 for options
  19. Hard top hoist

soft top rear is not solid, the rear window is plastic like wrangler soft tops
  20. Now that we have pricing, are you still onboard?

In ... Sport soft top manual is preference so I am on low end anyways ... denating a Rubicon once I can compare build out prices
