The response from Vegas

I spoke with my GM and as of now we will not be offering any discounts or promotional pricing for the Gladiator. Our prices will be $2000 over MSRP for the time being due to the limited availability. We would love to earn your business and help you in any way possible. Thank you for your time.
Same dealer also just told me they are making 65k JT’s compared to 200k JL’s
Can anyone confirm those numbers ?

If dealers are pricing above MSRP I might as well order a LE. Counting on Kent now to honor that pricing or I'll be pissed I missed the window on an LE because I was expecting to get 7% below invoice on my own build based on what he told me.

I don't need a LE, and I don't need to overpay to be the first guy on the block with a JT. It's basically my build, so if it makes sense I'll jump. But 1% under w/TL (i.e. what TriCity NC is doing) vs. 7% is ~$3400 difference, so I'd just wait and build my own.

This is why I am going out of state, not sure emailing all the local dealers is worth my time. Did you contact the Jeep dealer in Ft Collins?
I have contacted everyone but Autonation and Medved. Autonation has the worst website on Earth and I refuse to call any dealers at this point because they only prefer to call and nag and leave messages without any info other than to call them. If you have an email contact for Autonation, I will contact them. I wouldn’t buy a windshield wiper from Medved.

I saw Wrangler sales were down something like 20%. If they want to try and charge MSRP (or anything close to it) I will go get a well-equipped JL for 7%-10% below, or jump ship and get a well equipped Tacoma at a reasonable price.

I just spoke with Kent @ Peterson in Boise.

Still doesn't know invoice or discounts on Launch Edition, but expects it to be less than the normal 7% under invoice.

Tomorrow you can go to the special web site, put in the zip code for Nampa, ID to start the LE process. Sometime in the next 7 days they should have invoice pricing and an idea of what their discount will be.

He expects LE to ship 4-6 months from now (wave 3). First custom orders (wave 2) will beat the LE to the dealerships. He doesn't know when custom order banks will open, invoice pricing, etc. Today Jeep just started feeding them info on the LE.

I'll start the LE process with them and see what I find...

EDIT: Less of a discount/higher price than the normal 7% under...

Interesting. I thought some of the reviews had said that LEs would ship in May.

Wanted to let yall know Kent is currently calling the Launch Edition leads he has to get them processed. Just spoke with him briefly. I'm going for a regular Rubicon so he said he'd be calling in the next few days when order banks open. I'm seeing elsewhere that order banks may not open until May, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I got the same call from him.
Every other dealer has responded with an email that pretty much says they won't be offering any discounts or honoring the affiliate program at all on the JT which is total bs. I really hope that Kent will come through for us.
The only reason I didn't place the order for the LE was this forum telling me that they're on wave 3. I'll be super pissed if that turns out not to be the case. That and I really want the cold weather pack even though I'm in SoCal it's nice to have heated stuff when you go commando.
Really hoping to hear from Kent by end of this week. So restless.

LE has the cold weather package. It isn't specifically listed but they do list the heated seats and steering wheel, which are part of it.

Anybody have the latest... Post LE information? When can we place orders, when can the dealers actually order? When invoice pricing is supposed to hit the dealers? Late Availability color availability? Just curious... I passed on the LE in hopes to order the color I want, for less... with arrival faster than LE. Fingers crossed!

I talked to Kent today and the LE’s are gone but he will not be beat on regular Gladiator orders. We were lucky to get our LE order in early and even happier with the price. Can’t say enough about the relationship we have with Kent @ Stampede CDJR.

I think I might be placing my order with Kent once the banks open for them in mid May. I don't want a lot of the extra stuff that comes on the LE. Does he take trade-ins?
