What do you want to upgrade to? Your only options are a Mojave or Rubicon really. Mojave for sand and Rubicon for rocks / lockers. Yours is well equipped and pretty much the highest trim as far as the Sport trims. I wouldn't trade. IMO

It doesn't matter if you trade it in or buyout. You only get penalized for miles, condition, or mods if you turn it in at the end of your lease term.

If you have a Rubicon / Mojave, the 4.10 gears will help it. The Sport will be a dog and bad on gas. You also have to recalibrate the trans shift points on the auto or it will constantly shift in and out of gears. If you have a manual, it feels even slower.

Residual values are expected estimates for leases. We don't know the true value of a Gladiator. It hasn't been out long enough and then Covid happened. Residuals are a good "guess" on future market value.

Gotta be realistic. Jeep Wranglers only depreciate about 30-35% after 3 years "used" normal market. The Gladiator is too new, but probably about the same. It's still new and only a year old.

Once the 2022 is out. They should at least give you a minimum of 15% off. Depreciation.
