Let's make it clear. None of these people turned in their leases.
They "traded" their lease. If you were to turn in a lease at the end of your term. You wouldn't get anything back. A trade in will result in a dealer making you an offer. Essentially buying your lease and paying you the...
I like it with the 8 speed auto transmission. I didn't like it mated to the 6 speed manual with Sport Gearing. By far one of the slowest and laziest vehicles I have ever driven.
I don't really know what to tell you other than what I have known from owning both. I know 5 & 6 are overdrive gears. Regardless, even on 5th gear. It wouldn't hold speed on the highway on any slight grade. It would have to remain on 4th to drive comfortably on the highway. 65/70mph without...
It's not shifting near as much. It is also an 8 speed and geared far better for the transmission.
Driving an auto vs. manual is like driving two different vehicles entirely.
Jeep really screwed up. The manual makes the engine seem lazy and laggy. It's not true at all. It's geared all wrong...
I regretted my JL Sport Purchase.
In my opinion, the Sport is geared way too low, engine needs to be revved way too much with the V6, with long 3/4/5/6 gears.
It makes a terrible combination. I constantly had to downshift down to 3rd gear to maintain highway speeds on slight hills. Killing gas...
Im not sure. I did go over some rough terrain on a base model sport with a 2.5" lift. I never had any issues, but no rock crawling. The only issue was that my wheels wouldn't clear. lol All I had was the anti spin diff option. I was impressed without the need of a Rubicon. For my needs. I would...
Maybe you saw the Sport base model fenders. They have a filler trim that fills the gap between the front bumper and fender.
The base model JLU has them too.
I had a JLU Wrangler and switched to the JT Gladiator.
It seems like the wheel to fender gap is wider on the Gladiator in the back. The front looks about the same.
Had anyone measured a Sport JLU to a Sport JT? Same base tires and wheels?
I had a 2.5" lift on my Wrangler with 35 x 12s and I destroyed my fenders offroad. If you plan to sticking to pavement. You might be good. But on a tight turn or any articulation. Your fenders are going to be torn out.
Ask me how I know. lol
Maybe it's another issue related to loose fuses. I would make sure to inspect them all and push them in. People have been having weird issues with fuses not being seated properly.
It's something easy and free to check.
That's odd. Does it keep adding time? So eventually it's like 30 minutes behind?
I had a 2018 JL and the only time I ever changed the time. Was on daylight savings changes. Weeks at a time I would let the Jeep sit.
I wonder if the unit ever loses power for very brief moments to make it lose...
What if you have traveled exactly 5 minutes back in time from the future and you are from a time 5 minutes from now. That would be cool.
On a serious note. I can't think of a way to fix it.
I got a spray in bedliner. I spent over an hour cleaning off overspray and just shitty masking. It was done by a reputable LineX shop with tons of experience. He also cut into it with a razor blade when taking off the tape and shitty cuts around the bed lights. If I could do it again, I would do...
You might end up bending some of the rods on your top over time. They're not that strong. It's a good idea, but pulling from the middle where the handle is vs. the side is probably a better.
I had a soft top Wrangler before the Gladiator. Some people would accidentally break the rods on the...

I sold it in 2018 in anticipation for a Manual C8 Corvette a few years ago for 32k. Now they are upwards 50k. They never made manuals. Inventory has been super...
The brakes do suck. I've had 19 cars, and the Wrangler JL / Gladiator JT are down at the worst. They're mushy and no feeling to modulate. They have a float feel to them. Although, I expected that from a truck / SUV. They're not dangerous, but just lackluster and unimpressive. They don't bother...
