Hit D1 status today on my Hydro Rubicon build with a color matching top. I would love to receive it before Nov 6th (but I doubt that will happen). I'll be happy as long as I get it before Christmas...so I can drive it to FL for our annual trip there.

So. my question about this grill is, does it have the same airflow as the stock grill with the max tow package?

I would think it would somewhat be possible using a ladder rack type system that is designed for trucks with cabs (base of the rack sticks out from the bed and mounts between the cab/cover). But unless the side bars go straight up, it will limit the amount the cover opens up.

It is only a difference of 35 lbs of weight between the two, and $300 (till you get 8 cleats to match) . But it goes from 400 lbs capacity to 1600 lbs. I just rather be safe than sorry (if I throw a tent with 2 people and 2 dogs, maybe...or plywood etc on it)

Very nice. I have been looking at these, and searching for pictures of it on a Gladiator. I am also debating about adding the cab protector to it.

Ps- I agree 2000 dollars seems awful steep for a 5' bed.

I've been seriously looking at this cover too (the HD). Just a couple thoughts I've had: Just because the cover is good for 1,600 pounds, doesn't mean that the bed is. I've seen other posts saying gladiator is only good for 250 lbs per bed side. Granted this cover shares the load across all...

Thanks for the information. I was wondering if the weight would cause any drop to the front. How wide is the step? I figured it may not be the best step, but liked that it had that capability without having a dropped step (smooth slide rail and strong).

I was looking into this for my wife and myself twice yearly trips to FL, and maybe some overlanding. I figured a suitcase wouldn't fit, but how about a hiking bag (or 2) full of clothes? Or just clothes in bags in the bins?

I'm assuming that the Decked storage blocks the bed outlet, if you have that option? Would be kinda cool to have a slightly shorter option so the outlet is accessible and have a short section of the bed at full depth (place gor gas cans, buckets, etc)
