Been a while since I have checked in here. Any new ideas or solutions?

Had 6k at the time.

No noise at all, I could smell it though and standing next to the engine compartment would make your eyes water.

9k miles, def pump failure and cracked exhaust manifold. Can had to be removed for replacement of the manifold. Multiple derates while pulling my camper. All that said I still love it!

Do you still feel that you have seen a full 10* improvement after having pulled with it?

Any updates on this?

What trimming did you do?

After a long climb in hot weather. I’m in Colorado

my has yet to shut down, when it derates it will slow me down to 30-40mph

Sounds like methanol injection may be the cheap easy answer. I wouldn’t hate the bump in power and mileage either.

I’m running the Pedal Monster and have no complaints. You just have to understand how they work and set your expectations accordingly.

I recently to my Glad to the dealer for an exhaust leak. Was told today that the passenger side exhaust manifold is cracked. They have no idea when they will be able to get a replacement. Is this a common failure point on the Gen3 ecodiesel or is this just my bad luck?

I didn’t see enough difference in hood vents to say it was worth while.

After going with 4:56’s with my 37’s I would never look back at 3:73’s. I gained fuel mileage while towing and while empty, I have better off idle torque when off road. I see absolutely zero down side here.

I regeared to 4:56, I’m on 37’s. Overall I’m very pleased how it tows my camper, I now have enough power to pass slower traffic. As far as derates go it definitely helped but Here in the mountains in Colorado on hot days and long grades it can still derate. I’m of the opinion that an auxiliary...
