Just rolled into Montrose, four mountain passes down one more to go. I have been turning my fan on manually once oil reaches 240*. No derates today. The changes I made seem to be working, granted it’s only 75* ambient out.

The latest firmware update was in early June you can now turn the fan on while driving with “cool down mode” I’m not sure when the fan typically turns on, I have never heard it turn on until I was derated and going slow enough to hear it. Haha

I’m not sure that a turbo blanket is the right answer. The turbo is water cooled, insulating the turbo would put more burden on the already marginal cooling system.
