Depends where you go and what you do. 3.73 with 35s is liveable if you don't tow and you live outside of mountains or steep hills. I live in the flats so it's fine for me.

If tires didn't solve it my guess is a worn or bad component. Ball joint, rod end on trackbar or control arm, bad shock, etc.
My 4x4 mechanic told me to never buy anything pre powder coated unless it's specifically from the US and a reputable firm. Not anything rah rah 'murrica... but the Chinese powder coatings are crap and you will spend more time and money removing and redoing. There are some made in America...
It'll be a long drive to the regular trail head, beautiful but long. You can do the lake side but don't expect anything more than an average trail that a Subaru could do. You don't really get the classic views either.
