Seems kinda pricey for the thickness of that tube, .134" and 50lbs. Think there's other options out there of the same or larger tubes for same or less money.
It all depends on the situation. Someone who doesn't have an impact wrench, torque wrench, tall enough jack stands, good floor jack is easily going to spend that $600 on tools. Yes... then they have those tools, for sure. But if this is all they're ever gonna do and they don't have any...
I'd rater give up a couple bucks than parts of 2 weekends but that's just me. I do some of my own work and tinkering but some stuff just doesn't make sense to not pay someone.
No doubt do it, unless you really needed the LSD. Or they could no labor charge put the locker up front and the LSD back in the rear.
There's plenty of buyers for that LSD around that will also offset the half cost locker up front.
