  1. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

The worst feeling was seeing a complete set, IN THE CRATE the Mopar 2" ships in that had only ever seen the distance from the delivery truck to the dealers shop to swap over sit for a week while I debated if it was worth it. Listed for $200, still shiny with all the tags on it.
  2. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

I've see 3 sets come and go in the last 60 days at $2-300 and they sat out there for a week or two before getting picked up. Only one guy has one posted local right now and wants $500. Another will come around for sure.
  3. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

Nice rig, going down a very similar path myself. Now I just need the locals near me to realize a take off suspension with 5k miles isn't worth $500. The waiting game begins
  4. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

Mines an Overland, hardtop, leather, tow package, cold weather, bed liner, Trak-lok, 8.4 w/ alpine premium, etc. Leather is a must have for me between dogs, kids and hating seat covers.
  5. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

$46k was out the door on a $55k sticker. I could have gotten a Rubi for $5k more. But that was cloth, no premium audio, no bed liner, all things I value more than lockers I would only use for 50ft out of every 10k miles. Not desirable for me either. Only option I desired that didn't come on my...
  6. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

Thats why I am going for a poor man's Rubicon . (If you call a $46k truck poor anything) I can't justify the extra cost for such a hard core set up with the lockers and sway bar. The ground you can make up in raw capability with just adding in some real tires and an inch or two of lift is...
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

What tire and are they 35x12.5's or a narrower metric size? Looks great!
  8. Texas Stock gladiator crystal granite wheels

What would it cost for a single shipped to 55330?
  9. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

Well when you flex at me like that of course it makes it seem worth it!
  10. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

Thanks for the input. Appreciate the confirmation on the control arms. Really makes the swap almost trivial. I feel like a softer ride will be needed since i'll be getting E rated tires which will have the opposite effect Also getting .75" out if the springs makes more sense than those saying...
  11. Rubicon take off suspension, is it worth it?

Looking to hear from other Sport, Sport S, or Overland owners that have swapped in a Rubicon take off suspension. What If any lift was there? I hear between nothing and 2" from different people. On road ride quality, immediately noticable or not and why? Off road performance, what difference...
  12. Top Five Mods

On my Overland I didn't want to leave the dealership without a few things. Spray in liner was already in, but I needed a tonneau cover and all weather floor mats day 1. Dealership accessory guy was a tool who thought he was "cutting me a deal" selling 10% over MSRP so I walked away and ordered...
  13. Before and After: Overland on 35s. Rubi takoff and 2"spacer kit

I'm in the same place and have come to the conclusion that a Rubicon take off, teraflex 1.5" level and .75" in the rear will give me the stance and clearance i am looking for with ~35's. 295/70r18's specifically so I can stick with stock rims.
  14. Customer Service at AutoAnything.com

This is what customer service looks like. I felt compelled to share the experience. 2 minutes later and a refund was processed, no hassle.
  15. Before and After: Overland on 35s. Rubi takoff and 2"spacer kit

How would the 35's had faired without the Rubi suspension and spacers? I know they fit well on the Rubicon but don't see many overlands on 35's not lifted.
  16. Why did everyone decide their trim level (sport vs rubicon etc)?

My decision was made the exact same way, down to the MN winter's. My only regret with my overland is the stock tires don't have the same stance as a Rubicon. Even though I know they do well with snow on pavement (30k into a set on my wife's Traverse) I know I will be replacing them before too...
  17. Tonneau Cover Photos and Fit, I need help making a choice.

Bakflip MX4. Kinda pricy but feels solid, installed into factory mounting holes and not clamps which is nice. Holds 400lbs on top but I wouldn't push it.
