Tryna get out of Vegas and home its like end of days here the LE is on high alert. You sir are a brave soul to venture out on such a day. Today is like the Purge but for bad driving ?
Thanks! It really turned out as good or better than I expected. I will be doing a bunch of flow ups on the Linx, air lockers the compressor setup using the Grim brackets and other bits. Linx is still fairly new compared to other options and doesn’t seem many folks are running it.
Believe its anything greater than 28.85 for shock extension you would want to upgrade the driveshaft. On that note the falcon shocks come in just barely under that number.
I considered a ranger but once you factor in 4x4 and some ok options it just is not worth saving a few thousand. Just het way more with the gladiator especially when upgrading.
It does look like it would work better. I got this bracket as part of a kit. I'm going to see if I can get it to work (and save myself a bit of $$$). Worst case scenario I'll have to buy the rock krawler bracket and maybe another rear truss if I mess it up too much trying to make it work.
Ah I am putting this on as part of my ST4 kit. Have to make it integrate with my artec rear truss. Think it should be ok with a bit of work any thoughts?
Teraflex built and sold/sells a system like you describe. Basically it is two sway bars that connect together with a simple twist of a knob they disconnect and only the off road (an anti rock basically) one stays engaged. Believe it was only for the JK and had some issues with playing well with...
Could be any number of factors. I would start by checking the tire pressure. I have the dueler tires which are gonna give better mpg than a hybrid like a grappler or K02. Could switch up where you fill up. I mostly run Costco’s 87 here in Ca and it seems to give pretty good mileage. Cruise...
Did bit over 200 miles today and was averaging 27 mpg plus. This is a gas JT mind you. I am not sure I buy that, think the trip computer might be off. Was 65 mph most of the trip.
Taking the rig into the shop tomorrow morning. Picked up the tomahawk today and its incredibly built. It really is an instrument of destruction reminds me of one my dad made my brother and me when we were kids. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of it. In addition to the good luck finding the...
That is pretty good! I have a gas jt and find mileage in town varies hugely based on how I “modulate” the pedals. I was getting near 20mpg mostly city today by being very light and coasting a lot but usually in town I am more in the 16.5-17 range hammering on the gas. I see over 23 on long...
Sounds like you know how to enjoy your vehicles ? Gonna make a proper Gladiator owner lol.
Those Raptors are insanely priced right now. I looked into them over two years ago and thought hell no with the markup but I could have sold for probably $10k or more over what I paid right now had I...
I was told that there are a number of issues. One was the company that fabs the circuit board for the brain of the eAdjust went belly up during covid. Kinda major they'll have to find a new supplier for that and work it into the production. Makes sense why there is a looong wait time. There also...
Many hours of calling and emailing vendors nationwide... I give up. The Falcon shocks of all sorts are not coming anytime soon. I still want to go with the 3.5s auto adjust setup and have kept them on order. Until they come (next year?) I'll run some Fox 2.0 IFP shocks which we ordered today and...
