  1. Flat bed Gladiator build

Here’s the test fit of the tray. They’ve had a bugger of a job with all the rear sensors Under the tray there a 60ltr (15 gallon) water tank, slide out draw and two under body tool boxes will go between the flares and indicators. Pretty happy with the way it looks so far ?
  2. Flat bed Gladiator build

No, have had some input into it though this guys is used to doing hilux’s and land cruiser utes (don’t think you get those in the States). This is his first Gladiator though.
  3. Flat bed Gladiator build

Thanks, from an Aussie! But this is way out of my league, having a small workshop doing the build.
  4. Flat bed Gladiator build

Yeah, but the way it is here, at least I don’t have to keep picking the leaves out of it
  5. Flat bed Gladiator build

One of the reasons I chose this guy to build the tray was because he agreed to some specific requests that I had for the build. One of the most important things was to keep the iconic tail lights. One, because they are part of what makes a Jeep a Jeep and 2, in order to keep the blind spot...
  6. Flat bed Gladiator build

How about a flat bed Gladiator for something different? Been a long time coming, but always the plan for my Stinggray 2020 Rubicon. First stage of an overland build. have to start somewhere ....
  7. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

G'day, At the moment, the anderson plug is "loose" with the cabling running between the cab and tray. Its just there so I can run a car fridge when I go camping. Haven't secured it yet as there are plans afoot for the rear of the vehicle ... All will be revealed here as it happens. Cheers

Sorry, have been out bush. Picked up the solenoid from Ebay. Not exactly a "winch" solenoid, but one used for golf carts. I'm sure there are people who will say that what I've done is wrong, but I put it to use during a recovery recently and all worked well...

G'day all, Added the JL300 Voswitch. Good fit that is cheaper than Mopar switches, offers 2 more buttons and doesn't require any programming to use. Also has the advantage of having permanent power with an on/off switch or switched power from the ignition. For those from Oz considering this...
  10. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

$700.(That's Aussie) Included the bumper, wings, cross bar and bash plate. Not sure what it would cost in the States. Options are also limited here in Darwin which is pretty remote part of Aus. But was cheaper than a second quote I had gotten.

Job Done. Had my Smittybilt Stryker Bull bar Rhino coated and the winch cradle powder coated for the red recovery points. Added: 4" OVOTOR 20W fog lamps with Halo DRL's Rough Country 12" Black Series single row Light Bar Carbon 12k Winch...
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Not done today, but playing catch up. Front window tint day after I picked her up, then a 1800km drive on day 3 (Darwin to Broome). Was very impressed (and comfortable) with the drive. While in Broome did some light off roading and plenty of beach and dune driving. (12k/12 month service...
  13. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

Yeah, that was my second guess. That "plastic crap between the front bumper and fenders" was apparently the cause for at least 6 weeks of the delay getting the Jeep. It arrived off the boat in Adelaide without them making it non compliant. So Jeeps idea as the best solution? Send the whole...
  14. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

They are plastic caps, probably just a shipping thing to stop them getting scratched, not sure of any legal reason for them. Just haven't gotten around to taking them off. Have a Smittybilt Stryker bullbar to put on, so won't be there that long anyway. Just waiting to get it Rhino lined.
  15. STING GRAY Gladiator JT Club

G'day from Aus! After an 8 month wait (that's not a typo) finally took delivery of my Sting Gray JT Rubicon. Only color choice considered after they discontinued Punkn', and certainly not disappointed. Had two black JK Wrangler Unlimited prior to this and this is definitely an upgrade. Raw...
