"Add me to the list. 781 miles on my 2021 when I got a flashing CEL when my engine started sputtering on my first trip away from home."
Really stinks that your brand new '21 has this issue. Hopefully, one of the available fixes will address your specific problem, although I would expect...
From a different misfire thread. Looks like the issue will, unfortunately, carry over into the '21's - not good but not unexpected. Multiple issues at play and FCA hasn't yet addressed all of them
Got the same email. The $1000 bonus cash offer ends 1/4/21. Also noticed that FCA has upped the cash back incentive on '21 Sports from $1000 to $1500. At least in my region (NH).
Just read this press release quote regarding the new JL/ JT doors off rear view mirror kit.
“Mopar offers more than 500 quality-tested, factory-backed performance parts and accessories across the entire Jeep lineup,” said Mark Bosanac, Head of Mopar Service, Parts and Customer Care, FCA – North...
"Big letdown.
It doesn't have the diode in the brake light wire - indicating it was never tested on a real JT with options. There is no way any test engineer, even a beta tester ever used this. I'd bet it was designed, made, and shipped - not tested.
It's mounted backwards from the instructions...
I've been purposely holding off on buying or ordering a new new Gladiator to see if these issues continue to show up in the 21's and/ or Jeep addresses continuing misfire/ CEL/ ESS problems with more TSB's and/ or recalls.
Trying to decide on whether to go with the Mopar OEM running boards or steel tubular steps to go on a 2021 Sport S. I live in NH so I'm wondering which will hold up better to New England winters (e.g. snow, ice, salt) over time, or is there a better non-OEM option? I like the idea of plastic...
Towing and hauling are the big drivers as far as I'm concerned when talking about mid-size vs. full size trucks. The mid-size chassis' are much more capable today but if you're regularly (being the key word here and factor in typical terrain in here too) going to tow or haul more that 60% of the...
I have to say the YJ was a sad excuse for a 2D Jeep. I owned a 4 banger w/ half doors and it was pathetic, especially coming from a CJ7. The straight six wasn't exactly a power house back then but I've owned snow mobiles that had more HP than that YJ.
I'm always saying kids are spoiled rotten these days but I'm usually the biggest offender! My oldest son got his license 6 months ago and he was pestering me to buy him a used G37x. I'm thinking more like a 10yo Rav4 with 200K miles if I did agree to buy him something (with him kicking in half!).
My neighbor has a Nissan Juke, talk about ugly!
I think the JT grows on you, at least that's what I keep telling myself.
My wife loves it, which is huge!
Ever heard that? My 16 yo son's friend said, "that's the ugliest truck ever - why would your Dad want one of those", when my son mentioned I was thinking about buying a Gladiator. Funny thing is the friend's Mom just bought a new Porsche and I've never really been a big fan of Porsche looks...
My expectation is high teens around town and maybe low 20's on longer, relatively flat highway trips. I drive more conservatively (read, slower!) now as I creep up on retirement and one benefit is that it really helps with MPG! I figured the higher gearing would probably drop the MPG's by about...
Agree. Following the various threads it appears there are multiple issues at play but I'd classify them into two main buckets, the first being those related to the PCM fix(es) (non-mechanical) and then those caused by engine manufacturing quality problems (cylinder scoring?). My expectation is...
