Got a few bolt ons done. I told myself I won’t touch the suspension until i have the complete kit for moving up to 37’s. But I found a couple loopholes in that!
Took it on a midnight run to try and catch the Aurora. Did it stock and it was plenty capable, but it did crash on potholes, and the...
Ha! JT is too cool to be bothered by a piece of tin imported from overseas.
That said, hows the Jeep swag? Subaru ambassadors gave out all kinds of stuff all the time. I’m not a bigger Subaru fan, but damn they gave out trinkets all the time.
Get any halogen you want, and go to lamin-x for their amber film. It works great to give the light a quality color shift (tinted lens is how you achieve the amber for halogens) and really durable chip protection. I did this combo on my Subaru using imported H11 driving lights and a laminx film.
Rubicon manual!
I just sold my Colorado diesel for this. Hands down, you will not at all regret the smiles per gallon. Its a solid and fun truck with the rubicon and manual.
The diesel just isn’t fit in the climate now. Its too hampered. And it has a short leash. If its upset, its not a...
Winter protection. Salts and other chemicals are used on the rods here over the mountain passes so hoping to cut down on the surface rusting.
It also penetrates metal unlike a surface paint or rubber coats, so your not gonna get problems when it inevitably chips.
Undercoating done!
Fluid film applied. First time using a product like this but have heard solid things on it. Look forward to keeping it looking far better under there than previous rigs. Winter’s not too bad with the salt and corrosion, but in the name of trying things out, definitely worth a...
Those wheels really help tie in the silver accents of the Overland. I felt all the silver on the nose wasn’t well balanced with the rest of the body color or black trim. But the machine face here I feel brings some good balance back. Looking sharp!
I went with the Borla Climber setup with the “touring” muffler.
Its got a nice low key rumble and tone. I do a lot of highways and such so wanted something reserved. Its where I almost want more volume running around town, but when I am on the highway its just perfect. It doesn’t drown out the...
I’m working on em! Unfortunately for all the miles put on, most have been just miles of driving interstate. So unfortunately, the pics are mostly in my driveway. It’s getting luv and protection mounted up now as November my buddy and I will be hitting Moab in our recently done up jeeps. I expect...
Also, no more prop rods. They drive me nuts. From maintenance to attaching the compressor to the battery, its better without the damn rod.
This one is from redline tuning. For the fancy types, they also have a stainless steel strut case finish. NGL it did look pretty snazzy, so for the fancy...
Installed the Rugged Ridge HiLo snorkel.
Have the low on now. While the hi mount is badass looking, its far more a liability as it just rests on the window. It’s bolted down, but theres no upper support. So I think its more prone to accidents, especially as I’m involved. We got a lot of tree...
Definitely!!
Right after I pulled the trigger on the seats I was worried that I made a terrible mistake with the colors. I did a lot of searching for the colors on he seats, but only one or two photos. But I do believe this sunshine is the right color match, and the texture should be on point...
Thanks!!
Oh shucks. I did at one point browse the site not too long ago, just to read their description, but I purchased it off Amazon like so many things LOL.
I got it from Larry H Miller CJDR. I did an Autotrader search and they had the one i wanted on a truck and unclaimed.
I’m in Cle Elum. Lakes, trails and forests are my backyard here :)
