Still have the baseball cap on, but got the doors all off, sunrider back, and mirrors mounted. Itās wicked!
Also took the windshield down to give it a try. This thing comes apart quickly!
Also did the alignment pins to make it a quick swap. Although I got generic ones for the JK, so they do the...
I had this transfer case in my Diesel Colorado. Its the same as in the grand and such. Slightly different numbers based on the specific torque application, but the same thing.
All it all it was phenomenal. Thatās probably one thing I wish I had a ā21 for. 80k miles and I used the full time AWD...
After much self-complaining finally got the stereo addressed.
I was circling around the Alpine setup, but really wanted more than an amp to the small speakers and underseat sub. Especially with the doors off and wind noise, needed some good oomph.
Went with the MB Quart 6 speaker upgrade. It...
Ha! Replied to ya there. And thanks! I get such a kick out of them myself. Itās bold with the red and purple, but damnit, itās mine and one of a kind!
Done in place with my dremel. I was having a hell of a time with removing the dome light so just left it in. Wasnāt difficult in place. Just use eye protection as those plastic shavings aren't fun in your eye. ā¹ļø
Did the MB Quart 6 speaker and amp upgrade.
Probably a good 7+ hours from unpacking to cleaned up. And did a little extra cleaning as I had everything opened up and we got a week of 70 degree weather here so trying to give it a good first run and see how long I can go topless. ?
While not an...
One lead per side, the tweeter plugs left unused.
The kit replaced the wires to the speaker bar, but re-used the harness within the soundbar to connect the speaker pair.
Rest of the install went well, and I am quite pleased. Down the freeway it cleanly drowns out all the wind noise which was really bugging me with the factory setup.
I wish there were more EQ settings on the factory head unit, but EQ settings aside, I feel it was a good update and has distortion...
Just arrived. This is the kit less the subwoofers. Today was about 5hrs of getting the dash speakers in and the wiring in.
Tomorrow need to drill out for the sound bar speakers, test, tune and button it up.
First impressions are fair. The instructions are mostly there, but you have to go...
Griotts also makes a synthetic clay bar which is a sponge with a synthetic rubber on the bottom that works stellar and is much easier to use than traditional clay, and as its a solid material, dirt and debris doesnāt stick to it.
Its also able to be used with just soap and water so makes a post...
Also, on the manual, I might be in the minority, but the ASS is nifty as well. I do have a tazer so usually its off. But when I got the top back and AC off, Iāll turn it on. Itās pretty seamless on the restart as it only kicks in on the clutch depress, so you can let off the brakes and just...
Pop starting is fun. Iāll park on a hill just to do it.
But the manual disadvantages of less towing and less MPGs are about the only downsides to getting one. The clutch does take a bit of time to get used to. So far everyone who I passed the keys on to stalls it and smokes it their first...
Still not been able to do long range testing. It handily beats the import handhelds that we used, but havenāt done range testing yet. Other friends did ham so still havenāt had a chance to put it through the paces. Will report more once summer gets into the swing here.
My buggy
New engine is being built now. Hopefully going again by memorial day weekend. I completed the chassis last memorial weekend, so would like to het another cruse in that day.
This was not the helpful tip I needed to see!!
Thatās a hell of a deal. Under a grand and compared to the alpine setup, includes 6.5ā and 6x9ās and the pods/mounts for them which is several hundred bucks in addition. And as I donāt want to add a sub (at least not the little one under the seat)...
Well, a post hello! ? Was chattin to a few folks, but missed chatting up the Glad owners. And the supercharged JL.
And I was glad to have made it! My wallet was less thrilled, but they have grown an awesome business so I figured itās been a minute since I supported. Ha ha

Was out having to get my Vaccine so just made it to the tail end as they were coming to a close. Managed to snag a bubba rope and tire patch kit to add tk the gear box. And learn way too much about their installs and tire mounting abilities ha ha ha.
