It’s a jks front track bar but has a jam nut and a collar sleeve. I can not find directions anywhere.. I lossened up the sleeve bolt and started loosening the jam but (on the vehicle) the nut is on a screw turning inside the sleeve of the bar but both ends are stationary?
not sure if...
Now that makes sense thank you!!’ That track bar is the final adjustment. Only about 1/3 inch out of spec not sure if it’s worth it..
If I adjust the upper front control arms only and front track bar only.. should I make another alignment appointment?
You guys have been awesome if I left it...
Well that’s finished.. still gotta adjust the track bar as the drivers side tire pokes out 1/2 inch more but you guys really helped me. I’m pissed they did that and not sure if I need an alignment after adjusting just the uppers but at least my springs and bump stops won’t be damaged.
No it did not I added adjustable control arms from core for X4 I got home early today and realized they had the upper front control arms 3/4 of an inch to out .
Readjusting them now assuming I’m gonna need another alignment good news is see the pic included springs are no longer bowing forward
I have both front and rear track bars.
Bow started with stock springs also and just teraflex leveling kit so I’m not too quick to call it a parts problem. I’ve read of the same issues with aev and such.
It’s so weird tho cause the passenger side is perfect i mean it’s a longer spring so it’s not perfectly straight but looks good. Originally had just the leveling kit and same thing drivers side spring bowed away from vehicle. Then went will fill Bds lift with all 8 control arms and front and...
To be honest the 1/2 didn’t bother me but my drivers spring is so out of spec both the lift installer and alignment shop (that adjusted all my arms) said it looks off but is aligned and angled perfectly.
It’s always the front drivers spring bowing forward enough to rub upper bump stop
Morning everyone! After a Bds lift I noticed my drivers side tire is sticking out roughly 1/2 in more than the passenger. I have a jks front track bar however when I think about moving the track bar out or in i can visually see the problem getting worse. So I need to adjust the bar 1/4 to...
Yea I drove it down there about 10miles. Felt great! Drove straight and no shake.. when I got it back granted I only went 200 feet but I was hearing a clunk going from forward to reverse and a grinding noise while I was driving away… all I could see was the front springs pressed against the sway...
Lol yea exactly and also getting to 150+ on torque was tough on my back. It is my daily driver so I figured spend a couple hundred have it dialed in and on the off change they did do a good job I’d have someone to work with in the future. I had a spacer lift but i figured do it right so between...
Brought jeep to a good jeep guy to install Bds lift he said get control arms.
Got all four sets and installed myself and brought jeep to a local shop to have final adjustments made, proper torque and an alignment this is what I get back.
Given the Parts installed I don’t know how they think...
Had a full 3in BDS lift installed in my 2022 Sport S decided to finish it off with all new control arms and adjustable rear track bar.
Have little experience with these types of parts but definitely felt a difference in quality over stock. I measured best I could but the Jeeps going to be...
That’s not a bad theory tho okay so your axel is going to be off a bit. Which for the most part is cosmetic. If it was dangerous or was going to chew up tires or other parts rear bars or brackets would be needed or included. A basic lift is supposed to still get you down the road safely. And I...
