Update: I have isolated the noise. It has gotten louder and more frequent. If I apply pressure to the 4x4 shifter the noise goes away. Not necessarily engaging the 4wd high but if I pull the shifter back just enough (maybe 1/4 inch) towards the rear it will stop the noise. Any ideas?
