  1. First long trip review + gas mileage/gas tank rant

It will get significantly better, around 5,000 miles or working up to it, it’s been The case with my JLs and JTs
  2. Mahindra is one step closer to selling Roxor in USA

It’s great, as long as you don’t want to take it on the street...it’s just a glorified ATV....no competition....also, it’s been available for years, don’t worry, nobody else noticed either.
  3. Is the tonneau cover waterproof?

In my experience the Mopar Rollup is about as watertight as can be, not 100% but 99.9, it’s better then my old bak revolver as far as weather tightness....the only small area I might get a drop through is right by the tailgate going through a high pressure water/wind car wash...but it’s...
  4. Tacoma in the running....

I shopped one hard, they are good trucks, but smaller (interior), and the engine/transmission as well as about everything else is archaic on that truck, couple that with the fun factor of the Jeep which imho is completely lacking on the taco it was an easy choice...it was more money, but the...
  5. Falken Wildpeak MT Snow Performance!

No as good from my experience in our old JKU willys, that said I never complained about them, rotated them often and got over 50,000 out of them (very loud at the end) but I replaced them with the exact same set, I spend a lot of time in the snow as well. These Falkens on the other hand perform...
  6. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

This morning, pulled my JTR next to another JT sport and a JKU...Merry Christmas!
  7. Steering Box TSB Fix - What Results?

agreed, my 1500 could be a handful in high winds, this isn’t any different really.
  8. Seat comfort...

I have also found (unrelated to the JL/JT specifically) that on long trips in any car that has seat heaters, it’s great to cycle those on regardless of outside temp or even if the AC is on, taught my dad this trick as he has a horrible back and drives a Yukon, helped him tremendously.
  9. Tacoma in the running....

You don’t need to the forums, go drive them both, then come back here and let us know your honest impressions.
  10. Falken Wildpeak MT Snow Performance!

They blow away my nitto Ridge grapplers on my 5th gen ram, that tire is way overrated in every sense besides longevity....these tires are very solid, one of my favorites I’ve had in a very long time.
  11. Seat comfort...

I’ve had a late model 2017 overland GC ( least comfortable seat imho)and recently a 5th gen Ram Rebel, I also own a 2018 JLUR, I find the leather seats in my 2021 JTR to be the most comfortable of the bunch for me, we do a ton of long trips and I’ve never had a complaint from anyone...that said...
  12. What's more rare on the road?

Lots of overlands around here, more so then anything else, understandable when you realize the incentives they throw at the overland....Rubicon’s and Mojave’s, and high altitudes are more “rare” around here, but the Mojave is also newer then the rubicon and I suspect will never be quite as...
  13. High Altitude Gladiator pics ! Let’s see them

Not what they mean by High Altitude ( they are liking for the model) cool Jeep nonetheless.
  14. VOIDED Factory Warranty after taking it through mud

Not exactly, if the OP is using the truck as intended(within the limits) then it possibly could be a warranty issue. Also, look at the timeline he has for various issues... I would think it is hard for anyone legally to claim they all came from the initial mud incident.
  15. Sturms White Max Tow AMC Jeep inspired build thread

    Gorgeous, retro done right
  16. VOIDED Factory Warranty after taking it through mud

    Time to lawyer up...unfortunately
  17. VOIDED Factory Warranty after taking it through mud

Exactly how much mud are we talking about, because the Jeep can ford water too,but it’s not a submersible...one is a warranty issue, one is an insurance issue.....no I’m not defending the dealership or saying you are wrong but I do think it’s a fair question.
  18. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Thanks for the info, never looked at my 2021, but I had a late October built date and zero steering issues at all. Interestingly we also have a very early 2018 JLUR and the steering is perfect, and I know that has the old box....weird.
