  1. Why should I get an automatic over manual Gladiator?

I can't speak to a hellcat swap but seems to me you miss out on a lot of the baked in technology with a manual such as stock remote start, offroad+ mode functionality, and possibly the crawl control as well. however, the manual is cheaper both to purchase and maintain, more engaged driving (more...
  2. Doors off, not legal?

Thankfully the doors are the same on the jl and the jt so halfdoors for either model will fit the other model
  3. How many of you are no $hit going to place an order on day one?

I'd love to go out and order one as soon as possible unfortunately I need to save my pennies for a bit so that I can afford it as well as finish my apprenticeship before I run off and make a risky financial decision like an expensive new car, fingers crossed that this truck will have a good long...
  4. Is the gladiator going to burn all my precious gasoline?

I hate to be the guy that starts a fuel economy thread especially since I don't really care about fuel economy in a jeep, however, I haven't seen any fuel economy numbers from Jeep. are we expecting it to be the same as the wrangler or will it be significantly worse because its a truck. whatever...
  5. Canadian Dealerships below invoice?

sometimes lol, the main highway is paved and most of Whitehorse (our capital city) but other then that no. we also use sand on our roads instead of salt so in spring and fall even on the pavement, its nothing but a fine spray of mud!
  6. Canadian Dealerships below invoice?

I'd believe it that's just how the roads make cars look around my stretch of the woods xD
  7. Gladiator buyers - have you owned a Wrangler?

I'm planning on jumping from a 98 Cherokee to a gladiator because I need a truck, love jeeps and where else can you get a manual trans these days
  8. Why not buy a full size truck for the same price?

the JT is unique because it will be the only convertible truck, available with a manual transmission at every trim level, with a best/near best in class towing (depending how you spin the numbers) and it is guaranteed to have a huge aftermarket following. plus its a jeep thing. that's why you...
  9. Will the JT Rubicon with 8.4 have noise cancelation?

I've got a 98 cherokee with noise cancelling, it's called cranking the radio till that's all you can hear
  10. Build and Price is up on Jeep.com!!!! (minus the price part)

we know the JT has wider cooling slots specifically for towing which is across all trims and the higher output alternator is rolled into the tow package (I just checked), meanwhile the wider axles and 410 gears are standard on the Rubicon (I haven't looked through other trim builds to see if...
  11. What Jeep Gladiator aftermarket products would you like to see?

as much as i love this idea and want it for myself, i feel like anyone who might offer it will just point at a 4door wrangler and say its already been done
  12. Build and Price is up on Jeep.com!!!! (minus the price part)

my guess is that all the mechanical items in the max tow package on the Wrangler are standard on the JT aside from brake controller and the aux switchs (which are a seperate package instead of a mopar accesory)
  13. who is getting the bluetooth speaker?

just curious who is thinking of getting the Bluetooth speaker. as much as I like the idea of it, it seems like a piece that won't last the life of the vehicle, can be easily stolen by jeep savvy thieves, and might not be as good sounding or function as Bluetooth speakers that are already on the...
