My washer jets were super weak all the sudden. I was thinking pump or jets needed replacement. Upon further diagnosis found the rigid line that runs up the driver side fender was cracked lengthwise and shooting fluid out under my hood! Tried to find the part but the diagrams left a lot to be...
The battery was given to me, its a LiFePo4 100AH. I don't know what group size it is, i think its an RV battery. larger than H6 and H7 but smaller than H8. I'm probably going to add a small 12v fan w/ some kind of controller at some point. right now its not getting warm at all in there (the BCDC...
Finally was able to get my bed battery into a toolbox for cleaner/easier removal when needed, plus now i can put stuff on top of it. I used an old get 1 Rigid toolbox for the battery box which has the DC/DC charger, battery, and fuse block in it. Mounted two SB50 connectors for the vehicle and...
I am using a three-way relay for my spot flood combo. It lets me use one aux switch to control the on off for them, and then my high beams trigger the spots.
I also have the fuse for the BCDC in the bed.
Yeah I guess that's true, I can just hack the harness down to just the light connections. I do have them hooked into the higher current rated ones and even the lower current rating ones still far exceed the usage of the LEDs.
I just added some aux lights and my relay and wiring situation is not what I'd like. Its not bad, but it could be better, I just don't know what might be out there. I'm using the Aux switches to control. Right now I have relays for my front flood/spot combo and for some side floods I mounted...
I wish there was an āIām indifferentā option. I donāt mind it, but I had to replace both batteries to get it working again. Also wish it would be easier to disable without all the lights and warnings (without buying something else).
I was able to get it disengaged and then I was able to use some vice grips to thread the locking rod into the mechanism so that it wouldnāt stick out when it is unlocked. Problem solved!
anyone with the table have issues with ease of getting the holder disengaged? mine seems to be getting stuck on something and it makes it tough to get the table out.
thanks
Did the transmission service at 81k. Went really well. Wasnāt as challenging as I thought and pretty straightforward. New filter and Amsoil 100% Synthetic ATF. Drives really smooth. The old fluid was pretty clean, no metal chunks. Just the magnet sludge. Itās a crime how much a dealer charges...
Still have my ā20 that I picked up at Renton CDJR in Oct ā19. Iāve added a winch and RSI SmartCap, replaced both batteries once, tires, and all the fox shocks. 81k, been a good truck. Going to do the transmission service and diff fluid next.
okay, rear Bilstein 5100's on order. everyone is out of the fronts, but the back is what is currently broke. thanks for the recommendations. also snagged the steering damper as well
awesome, thank you for the feedback. any suggestions on stiffer springs w/o or very little lift that could go with the 5100? or are the rubicon ones fine? i have a cap and fridge, i think i need something a bit stiffer
I was under my truck doing some work and I noticed a lot of gunk on the bottom of my rear drivers side shock. Itās not on the other side. I also have noticed the rear hasnāt felt normal, more clunking and bounce. Is this blown? I like the ride height (stock) but if I need to replace Iād like...
Made and installed a plate in my bed to mount things to. Installed a prototype battery box with my BCDC setup and now working. Waiting on my fridge slide. 100AH of power in the bed now :D
