I have a JTop USA mesh top that stays on year round under the hardtop (Michigan). I fold/roll a towel for under the center of the Jeep (brand) cover. Works fine and I have minimal pooling (weather pending). I do not believe the mesh top is actually necessary, but it likely helps with said...
You’re welcome. I did edit the fact that I do run OEM Mojave wheels with said 1.5” wheel spacers to achieve the aesthetic I was looking for. Tires were just a little too tucked for my personal liking. Actually… I have a picture. OEM wheels. No wheel spacers. Post AEV install. Not a great...
You will be absolutely fine without any lift and on OEM wheels without wheel spacers.
Two months after new Jeep purchase, I had an AEV 2” (f/r) lift and GCBs installed (top hole utilized). Was NOT at all necessary, but I wanted to. No other component modifications and it drives 100% as...
I have had mine installed for sometime now. Being that it is currently the colder time of year still, I utilize the component less. I like to remote start my vehicle either via fob at close range (house/pulling up to) or phone app farther away (5-10 minutes).
I do not remote start for A/C. 😄...
RokBlokz size original/original.
I wholeheartedly feel they do not need to be any wider/longer, but as you can see, I also have rock sliders with top plates. I could not be happier with the RB size choice/setup.
If I am not mistaken, Bestop also makes just a sun shade for temporary removal/replacement of the Freedom Panels.
I guess my initial reply was not on point… exactly. It happens… 🍺🤪
¯\_(❛︣ ͜ʖ ❛᷅)_/¯
So, you’re wanting only the Freedom Panels position shade?
Bestop’s Sunrider for Hardtop. Twill is the nicer of the 2 offerings.
When/If you do decide on a full size, this is my JTopsUSA. It stays on all year round. Not at all necessary to remove under the hardtop. No bungee cords!
Just going to throw this out there and you may very well already be aware, but the AT4W are more heavier load oriented than the AT3W.
When the AT4Ws were first released, Trail Built Offroad preferred the AT3W over the AT4W… generally speaking of lighter vehicles—Jeeps
I personally run Mickey...
S.E. Michigan here. “Naked” from Memorial Day to Labor Day. May pull off the Freedom Panels a couple/few times before/after.
Self-ordered 2022… first Jeep, but certainly not at all new to 4x4 trucks. Not a Rock Crawler or Overlander, but sand dunes and high(er) speed trails are my thing.
Thank you.
Just an AEV 2” (F/R) and GCBs.
Nothing else.
I guess the very first pictures I posted early on in this thread were before I had the AEV installed, simply to show for the OP’s inquiry/request.
The posted photos afterwards were after said lift. I’m just saying.
I put on the...
I run 1.5” wheel spacers with stock BASE Mojave wheels and DID NOT cut the studs. I got them for the 255/85R17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts, because I like NARROW, but wanted some “poke.”

“Stitched” MOPAR seats at order (March 2022). Standard leather-like seats are terrible looking IMO.
Coverking Topliner. Dark charcoal. The usual white roof had to go!
ArmorLite replacement flooring, because carpet is a terrible thing in an off-road vehicle.

I have UltraVision’s Chameleon Tint - “Sunset.” Link at bottom. Could not even begin to tell you what percentage it is.
I had only planned on doing the windshield for the orange/red color, but ended up doing the front door windows too. Those did not exactly go as planned, as I was not...
Limitless Parts (link below)
I did satin black on gloss black. Matches the OEM hood graphic.
I had tried the Mojave orange and gray, but did not like it. The orange was too bright and just too much for me...
Certainly deep sand, deep offroad snow and watery mud holes are the width exception(s).
The OP’s “issue” statement seemed more on-road oriented. “Not dying on icy snow roads…” whatever stated exactly.
