Correct, the planks themselves are water reistant!

The rack is our Maximus-3 Sports Bar for the JT, but its just slightly custom! The planks you see aren't a cover, otherwise a support system to safely store items you need while driving/ overlanding!

The bed rack is made of aluminum so it is water resistant! We offer this product right now, its just in the process of being added to our website! Give us a call at 248-821-6654!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I want to clear up some of the muddy details! We were selling all the overland racks as pre-finalized units (installation guide, hardware labeling, etc.) due to demand. The product was ready, but the little details are always being changed to improve...

The cargo deck system mounts on the side bed rails. It is a "floating" platform that allows you to secure your spare, while getting use of the space in the back! The cargo deck system is just a series of corners and planks to make a deck similar to the platforms used in roof racks.

Unfortunately no covers/soft covers work with the rack, as it uses some of the mounting locations as these do!

Installation guides will be sent in physical form with purchase of rack! The sports rack will be up early next week!
