Nice!
Post the dyno graph?
0-60?
Need a cold start vid.
Did you leave anything in the exhaust or straight pipe it out the back? As above, I'm also curious about backpressure loss.
I've gotten curious where the choke points are with the ecoD because it seems obvious it has serious breathing...
Have you checked CarGurus and other outlets in your area for the used Rubicon you want? I'm not completely familiar with lease trade ins or if it's only advantageous to work w your dealer.
It's interesting how this method absolutely blows away the factory estimates.
I didn't get the size of your tires. I'm on factory 33" falkens. At some point I'll put the 37 KO2s back on and see how this method does with them.
I drove a buddy's identical setup to mine but with 4.56s and thought...
Filled up at about 2/5. Truck did not like the "Performance Shot" (2oz) of the diesel additive (as shown by the drop in mileage and lackluster performance) and was in regen a few times.
Now that I've decided to make my jeeps antics public it's begun to straighten up its act and fly right, lol.
Hand calc was within one mile of the Jeeps combined projected range. Pretty good I'd say.
This last fill up was roughly half a tank. Within that half tankful there were persistent regens...
Three and a half inch lift, 37-in ko2s.
I don't have an eighth gear fetish.
I rented a jlu-r last year with 35 inch ko2s and noticed that the transmission like to over downshift by a gear or two which was remedied by upshifting to something that wasn't screaming the 3.6 when it wasn't necessary...
We went sailing!
(Well the Jeep watched from shore.)
Forecast called for southerly winds so the plan was to put in at Gilbert Park in Mount Dora and sail an easy 30-45 min westerly beam reach (perpendicular to wind) to Waterfront Park in Tavares, (5.5mi) grab lunch, then sail back.
Actual...
Round 3 with the Laphroaig this time accompanied with a cigar and the smoke flavor (which to me is more like cough syrup flavor) has really tamed down. I will say it comes across as lighter bodied than the Macallan or Glenlivet. I'll try it neat next time and see where that goes.
My 3.5" Skyjacker lift has given me 20k+trouble free miles. I added a front track bar, rear ¾" spacers, and driveshaft carrier spacer and I'm happy.
Also the lift is for gas and mines a diesel as I wanted the suspension to be more dynamic for trail riding. Whether the latter is or not I don't...
Having never owned a gas JT, I may be looking at this from a grass is greener on the other side of the fence perspective, but I bought the diesel for gas mileage, performance, tunability for more performance, and the novelty of a diesel. So far I feel it's fallen short of the first three to the...
The closest I've gotten to sweets with Scotch is some Ghardellis chocolate squares.
Have you done their sherry cask? I've been through a bottle of both and think it's a notch above.
