Gotcha. Sorry about that. Not sure if there is a separate sensor wire for them. I would look at mine but my JT is in the shop still from getting rear ended. But I am fairly confident there is no separate wire to connect to a Aux wire.
You are overthinking it, as well as not understanding how they work.
The heating element comes on only at specific temperature thresholds. There is a thermostat that dictates the threshold (aka at 40 or below).
A lot to unpack here....
- Pressure is too high. DO NOT GO UP TO 50PSI. You should be around 30, but use the chalk test to figure out what pressure YOU need to be at.
- Check your ball joints along with EVERYTHING bleda2002 stated.
- Steering brace is not needed. Hell I am running 37's on the...
Theres no such thing as 3.63 gears    Axles are all D44, sure, but there are two different types of D44's that come on these trucks, they are NOT all the same. Clearly shows you do not know what you are talking about. if that is your thinking/knowledge.
Doesn't matter what you...
Oh RIGHT! I looked at your threads and posted on your accident thread already. Glad to see at least there is a (hopeful) end in sight for you.
Do you have pictures of the frame damage? was it a new frame needed or just banging shit back in place?
Damn man hoping for the best for you. Mine has been in the shop for 2.5 months now, eta is roughly 3 weeks for me.
New rear suspension, body work, new axle housing, driver axle, and a few other items.
What was fucked on yours that is taking so long?
Yikes. Seeing this thread is not fun. I have one of the first pairs, but can't check on them until my truck is back from the body shop after being hit 2.5 months ago.
Yea not sure where the cost is coming from on this vs a GFC.
GFC is 100lbs lighter, and $4000 cheaper. Different types of doors for sure, prob different and locking mechanism compared to the GFC (my only gripe).
But different side locks does not constitute $4000 or an additional 100lbs.
You absolutely can refuse the vehicle prior to the frame switch happening, mainly if you have the threshold of what a totaled vehicle is in your state. Once it comes out that it DOES need a frame, tell both the dealership and your insurance to halt all work, and give you a cost analysis of the...
No abrasiveness intended. More just pointing out I saw an eerily similar post on FB and pieced together it was from the same person.
My bad it came off as such. Not a good week for my family so I am very grumpy.
This is eerily similar, to an extent, to my situation I am currently in. I have Progressive, and will be dropping them immediately following the finishing of my saga, as well as dropping them for my motorcycle and home owners. 12 years down the drain due to incompetency on their end.
7/1 -...
Well, obviously it is good to get as many opinions as possible. Never said it wasn't so not sure where you are coming from with that first part. Hence my longer response made here than on your FB post. Like I said, since you gave more details, it helps. Parking gear has been rough for the...
I know you posted on the JT FB page as well. You got the answer there as well:
No. It does not void your warranty. Especially since you have it documented it was an issue prior to the lift.
If your dealer is giving you issues, go to a new dealer with your documentation regarding the issue...
It's ok to be wrong. Don't worry buddy we aren't upset.
This sounds exactly like a dealer issue at the end of the day. You should have had this back already if your dealer cared about you at all.
What? You went wheeling. There is absolutely no warranty on that are you serious lmfao. That's just what happens when there are sharp rocks.
That's like me telling Jeep to warranty my broken taillight that I smashed into my garage backing up.
