  1. Mojave desert build ?

The rockkrawler silverback kit comes with a triangulated rear and long arm front and you can choose a 4" spring height. Very smooth ride and I'd imagine pretty good for desert running. They offer a coilover kit you can add too. Give them a call, I've had great experience talking with their tech...
  2. That's Actually Not A Bad Deal - Dirt Road Cred / AMW 5.7 Gladiator

Nailed it. Pulling a small (2500 lbs) camper across the country has had me wishing for more power for the first time. Even with 5.38s I have to spin the 3.6 pretty high to maintain speeds with 38" tires. I've never felt it was under powered off road though.
  3. Will these wheels fit with 40s?

I'm guessing 4.5" or less is going to work better. But you could change inner fender liners or never turn full lock. Or spacers
  4. Will these wheels fit with 40s?

Hard to say, stock control arms? You'll most likely have to limit up travel with a bump stop but street/beach driving you're probably good to go
  5. Anyone running Falken WildPeak RT in 38x13.50r17?

I have a triangulated 4 link and drop bracket antirock, so that's not an option, but I dont think it would fit.
  6. Puddle Lights??? KC CYCLONE

Here's 2 in a not very dark garage
  7. Pitman arm nut seized!

That's one of the truest statements I've read on a forum. Damn does that resonate, lol.
  8. What Did You THINK Was Wrong w/ Your Gladiator, But Wasn’t?

I heard a supercharged jeep behind me on the trail and initially thought my recently converted mechanical steering pump was whining.
  9. What Did You THINK Was Wrong w/ Your Gladiator, But Wasn’t?

I heard a chirping noise at parking lot speeds while turning and i was convinced it was my steering box. I had adjusted the box because it was sloppy and i thought for sure that was the culprit. It was a loose track bar bolt. And i mean like 80ftlbs loose i stead of 100 (whatever the spec is)...
  10. Flush Mount Tail Lights

Agreed. Either gaudy or a trailer light stuck on a peice of plastic
  11. EJS2025 recap with some pics

Chatted your ear off at the Weds Northridge event, killer rig. Moab Rim was my favorite trail this year
  12. 40'' STT, AEV Borah, 3" lift combo?

I wouldn't expect fender rub at ride height but any flex and i imagine you're going to grab them pretty hard. Looks cool though. Any other supporting mods or are you looking for a stance more than clearance on the rocks? Are they STT Pros?
  13. What are the cons to adding a rear locker?

Leave the LSD in thr rear and put the locker in front
  14. 40'' STT, AEV Borah, 3" lift combo?

I don't quite meet your spec but I'm running: - 3" rockkrawler long arm/triangulated rear - Borah beadlocks - 38 Falken RT01 To clear the front control arms with a 38x13.5 I need a 4.5 back spacing. Obviously, the Borah runs 5.72" BS so I added a 1.5" spacer to accommodate for now. I've also...
  15. 38x13.50x17

    38s on rk 3" long arm/ triangulated 4 link
  16. Third times a charm

Thanks for the realistic feedback on your experiences. Do you have a farther back shot of the MC brackets like the first pic?
  17. SHOW OFF your Beadlock Wheels

Good to read. Do you encounter snow/salt by chance? I like the simplicity of these wheels
  18. New: Ultimate Dana 60 Semi-Float Rear Axle for JT Gladiator

Lost up travel because of the size of the center section or....what limits the up travel vs the stock 44? Have you made any upgrades to the components of the D44? Good to hear it has held up to a beating. Makes me feel good about cross country trips with a trailer and hard wheeling.
